Israel has to protect itself. The unauthorized convoy of boats carrying pro-Palestinian activists, were asked to change course and head to an Israeli harbor where the content of their shipment would have been put into trucks and sent to Gaza by land (as is done daily!). They chose to ignore Israels instructions and warnings and by making that choice, Israel had to take action. As the Israeli soldiers boarded the vessels, they were attacked by the activists with severe physical violence, including live fire, knives and clubs.
This could have ended in a peaceful way if the convoy would have wanted it to. Israel didn't have a choice but to protect itself.

The raid DID NOT occur in Israel's waters, it occurred in international waters.
Israel were actually demanding that the flotilla enter Israeli waters and be unloaded at Ashdod. Which would have been pointless anyway, since they'd confiscate anything prohibited by their blockade. The entire point of the flotilla was to get urgently needed materials into Gaza that the blockade itself prohibits.
I've read several posts like yours today on the matter and they are so embarrassingly ill-informed I have no idea how you can put your name to them. Even if it is only a username.
International waters are

It is the same that in WW2 the British Navy hunted down the German Navy on the "high seas".
There is no peace treaty and not even an armistice, there is simply a war that generally is fairly quiet. But don't forget that the Jews have been attacking Gaza recently with murderous bombing raids.
