In Nazi Germany, if you wanted that coveted promotion you had to demonstrate your hatred for Jews and other minorities. If you didn't you were looked over and further down the line you would have been thrown in with the unfortunate victims.

If you thought such times were in the past, think again.

The BNP Leader, Nick Griffin, who has moved his rhetoric from racism to clear cut Islamophobia has recently been appointed to represent the European parliament at the UN climate change conference in Copenhagen.

And this comes after the news that Lord Pearson, another infamous Islamophobe, has been appointed leader of the UKIP party on a platform of Islamophobia.

When are we going to wake up and stop denying the parallels between now and the 1930s and when are we going to realise that unchallenged, this will end very badly.

And if Muslims continue to "occupy" foreign lands it will get worse. Stop occupying foreign lands and the hate will disappear. But if Muslims continue to occupy lands that are not theirs then the hate and rage will continue. Sounds fimiliar?

Alternative To Hate

Because of tolerant westerners who subscribe to human rights a situation similar to pre-war Germany can never come about. I can't see muslims being made to wear green patches like Jews and Christians had to wear when they were under Islamic rule.

Hate speech is illegal and only practised by intolerant muslim preachers.

Muslims in Europe have put themselves in this position by their continued demands and challenges - why can you not see the damage you are doing to yourselves let alone the reason Islam has become such a cancer on western society.

The poster above is correct. When it comes to hate-speak in the UK we find it is most often Islamic preachers and so-called Muslim leaders who are preaching it.

Of course the BNP has always been there and hates everyone not white but at least they are democratically elected by people in the UK.

Have some Muslim extremists been found guilty of hate-speech and imprisoned in the UK? Yes.

Shan, you seem to have the idea that one or more of the 57 Muslim states will do something if the Swiss or any other European nation continues to "victimise" Muslims. In making this assertion you cite the weakness of the Jews having no state to defend them in the 1940's.
Can you identify any of the 57 states that have the will to stand up for Muslims in anything like the agressive manner that we know the Zionists possess? I frankly see no signs of any willingness or capability to do any such thing. Look how totally impotent they were during the Balkans war.

Am trying my best to read your post with a straight face.

Islamic demands - foot baths, muslim rooms for prayer, polygamy and now in the UN you are asking for a law that proscribes any criticism of Islam.

And what have you brought us - Hours of queing to get on a flight, honour killings, huge welfare payouts, modern no go ghettos, harassment of British troops, hate preachers, women in black who look like witches, forced marriages, female circumcision - just a few of your Islamic traditions that are so beneficial to British society.

A religion that teaches hatred of Jews and that will never integrate with non muslims and just grows and grows (courtesy of the British taxpayer) is not a religion. It is a cult that rejects everyone and thing that does not obey its rules, the majority of whose members, like you, are obviously very uneducated and aggressive.

So to ask for prayer facilites is a crime, to ask for recognition of polygampous marriages is a crime, to ask for protection of relgious hatred is a crime.

Parallels between 1930's & 2009

The rise of fascism in Europe came about after the collapse of three imperial monarchies following WW1 and the chaos that ensued. In the Wall Street Crash of 1929 the world governments & banks did little to limit the extent to which it negatively affected ordinary people. For many in Europe social democracy was closely associated with loss of status & power, and humiliation. These conditions simply do not exist in Europe today.
Furthermore WW2 took Europe over the edge into the abyss and at the end the collective lesson was that sectarian ethnic hatred served no one. Thus from 1945 there had been a steady progression towards a level of tolerance that is unparallelled in human history, despite individual local experiences may suggest.
There is no single European experience of the 1930's, one only has to look at 1930's UK to realise that fascism held little attraction for the British and the BUF were regarded with derision. The rise of UKIP & BNP reflects less the increasing attraction of far right politics and more a failure on the part of the mainstream parties to address basic needs. In the last 30 years various narrow political factions / lobbies have promoted their own agendas with little regard for the interests of the majority. Ethnic monorotuy groups have latched onto the misandry of gender feminism and assigned to the white working class (principally male) responsiblity for past events for which they could not be reasonably responsible. In the battle for limited public resources feminist and minority factions have been successful in promoting their interests in this polarised situation.
The claims of parallels with the 1930's are hysterical at best and malicious at worst. The best way to drive the likes of BNP & UKIP off the politicla platforms is to seek out and form alliances with the white workign class and work together to address the real common issues of social breakdown and economic marginalisation.

Cosa_Nostra, I am not certain what you are attempting to claim here. It is historically correct that minarets were used as symbols of power, and hence why there are directives prohibiting Kaffirs from constructing any edifice above the height of any part of a mosque. Physical dominance of a landscape through architecture is well established across the globe.
Antipathy, born of historic events and recent immigration, towards Islamic symbolism has nothing as far as I can see to do with the "Hebrew Paradise" and most of it emanates from a collective perspective that predates modern day Zionism.
While in UK the issues of Islamic imperial expansionism are historically and geographically distant, for central Europeans they are part of the collective national consciousness. the former Austro-Hungarian Empire's southern borders were the front-line between Islam and Christendom, and the conflict that raged for centuries was characterised by dreadful attrocities on both sides. The Islamic Ottoman Empire occupied by force the entirety of the Balkans and large parts of the Puzsta and southern steppes (Ukraine, Moldava, Crimea etc). This experience is a powerful for central Europeans as are the Crusades for Muslims.
It reflects the lack of integration and absence of learning among Muslims in these countries that they fail to appreciate what might be potentially sensitive areas. The appearance of minarets echoes the advance of the Ottoman Empire as much as knights in armour appearing on the Levantine coastal plain. The far right in Switzerland invokes such fears in the same way as the Imams in the Al-Aqsa Mosque invoke irrational fears that the Jews intend to destroy the mosques of Jerusalem. We appear to be hypocrits if we condemn the Swiss and remain silent over our own transgressions.

It is the muslims who have brought this situation to UK - please do not include the people of your host country who have been so tolerant and generous in the past. They are not the ones who are desperately trying to impose a regressive religious and political system on muslims.
