MPACUK Action Alert!

Attacks against Muslims have increased in recent months with horrific incidents such as the kidnapping of Noor Ramjanally, several arson attacks on Mosques around the country and a number of anti-Muslim rallies by hate groups with more set to follow. In 2005 a parliamentary committee against antisemitism was established to "confront and defeat antisemitism in this country and beyond".

At a time when hate against Muslims is increasing and manifesting into attacks it is crucial that a committee against Islamophobia is set up to combat prejudice and discrimination against Muslims.

Write to your MP, expressing your concerns about this latest attack and the rise in Islamophobia and asking them to help ensure a parliamentary committee against Islamophobia is established.

So true, in fact the only reason they give a damn about our Jewish citizens is because they know they will vote them in.

However, considering how see through they are it's a wonder why Muslims can't put pressure on them too?

I am trying to lobby MPs to abolish the All-Party Parliamentary Group against Antisemitism, on the basis that it is racist to have a group that looks at anti-Semitism as a special kind of racism, that in itself is racist. And if it is not possible, then I will be campaigning to set up an All-Party Parliamentary Group against Islamophobia.

The report is also riddled with misrepresentation and clear signs of positive discrimination in which anti-semitism is treated differently to another form of racist act. I quote:

"(Police) forces demonstrate a heightened sensitivity to antisemitic crime and criminality with respect to that of a general racist nature and they respond accordingly" Written submission by the Association of Chief Police Officers (Para 44, Pg10)

"In 2005 nearly one hundred graves were smashed or daubed with swastikas and antisemitic slogans at West Ham Jewish Cemetery in East London....We heard from the United Synagogue that had all of the stones been replaced the cost would have been in excess of £750,000.20" (Para 65, Pg14)
- Giving them the benefit of the doubt and saying a hundred gravestones (not "nearly one hundred") were all smashed, and not some some smashed and some graffitied, according to United Synagogue, it is going to cost £7,500 to replace each gravestone. Who the hell is doing the work? Premiership footballers?

Thanks for that, I will surely try to get involved. Can you just piont me in the direction of the correct thread, and in which category can I find it.

Also, I am having difficulty logging on, is the forum's username and password the same as the the general MPACUK login name and pasword?
