Sadiq Khan & Alan Johnson Do A Runner

Sadiq Khan

The Government takes the fight against extremism seriously, doesn’t it? Wrong. A very important consultation with British Muslims was snubbed this week by none other than Sadiq Khan and Alan Johnson. Billed as the headline speakers at an event at the House of Commons, the Home Office Minister David Hanson was sent along instead.

When questioned on Britain’s foreign policy in Iraq and Afghanistan and the effect this was having on young British Muslims he said, “This is a democratic country and if anyone disagrees with our foreign policy then they should raise this with their representatives at the next election in 15 weeks or so.” He then repeated the New Labour mantra and denounced all kinds of violence and extremism, including the far-right. This was after stating to the crowd of 70 or so that he supported the war in Iraq as he believed it was the “right thing to do” although the Chilcot Inquiry is now painting a different picture.

Numerous ISOC members were in attendance and one such member, a medical student from the UCL, stated that the police had taken the personal details of all ISOC members from the campus and that they were going to keep these for the next 7 years.

We therefore ask all British Muslims, including the ISOC’s, to do just what the Minister said: register your vote, take part in the upcoming elections and get your voice heard through the ballot box. And to the ISOC’s we say: become more politically active before the authorities try to ban you.

It's called pretending to be

It's called pretending to be earnest and giving the illusion of listening to the community.

But it seems they don't even do that anymore.

THE BALLOT BO**OCKS)

WHAT HAS THE BALLOT BOX (BO**OCKS) DONE FOR MUSLIMS SUFFERING SO FAR? THE LEADERS DID NOT ASK FOR OUR OPINION WHEN THEY WENT TO WAR ? ONLY A FEW PEOPLE MAKE THESE MAJOR DECISIONS. IN MINOR ISSUES THEY MAKE YOU THINK YOU HAVE A CHOICE, ITS ALL AN ILLUSION. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE MAJORITY THINK....THE POWERFUL MINORITY WILL ALWAYS DO WHAT IT WANTS AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN POWER.....WE NEED TO DETHRONE THESE LEADERS...AT ANY COST

(P.S) IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET RID OF A SYSTEM WHIILE PARTICIPATING IN THE SYSTEM.

When will Muslim Taxi Drivers strike?

Just so we can show how important we are to the economy, why not have a day off from work. Is there a Muslim Taxi Drivers Association to protest against the mistreatment of our families and officials by the same people we serve every day?

Philip Davies who is supporting the man who made this comment over the little rapist is a member of Racial and Religious Hatred Committee. No doubt which race and religion he looks after.

Great article! - ISOCS need

Great article! - ISOCS need to learn that unless they get politically active they may as well close themselves down.

pheonix raises an interesting

pheonix raises an interesting point about how Arab / Muslim states see themselves and the disparity between that and UK Muslim self-perception.
pheonix highlights that AIPAC, and the various friends of Israel are busy prmoting Israel's interests, while "muslims is were to lazy to get up of our back sides".
However pheonix overlooks the fact that virtually every Arab / Muslim state has lobbies of their own to promote their own interests. There isn't a Muslim lobby group because their isn't a single Muslim state / Khalifat, there are many states each with their own interests. each is in competition with the others to promote trade, military alliances, get aid etc.
The failure of these states to lobby against Israel may not suggest Israel's strength but the Arab / Muslim state's indifference to the Israel / Palestine situation.
But pheonix is right in another way. Hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of Jews collect money for Israel, they invest in its industry, infrastructure and environment. Even though they may never have set foot there they contribute. The US Palestinians, who on average are wealthier than the average US Jew, while repeatedly claiming their love for Palestine refuse to invest in Palestine. They want the right to come on holiday every year and as US citizens harangue the IDF soldiers and travel about in air-conditined Mercedes pronouncing how this land is their. But they wont invest in the state and the commonwealth.
