Yousef al-Khattab Writes To MPACUK, & We Offer Apology

We realised a mistake may have been made so we decided to contact Yousef to find out if we had got it wrong. He sent us this back:
Wa3leikoum Asalam wr wb,
What side of the story should I have? I left Revolution Muslim on Dec. 12th 2009 and had nothing to do with that South Park video release. The CNN interview took 3 hours of my time and took only the sound bytes that highlighted their agenda.Richard Dawkins did a similar tactic, interview me in my store in Palestine and then make a video taking answers to questions out of the sequence asked.I have been a Muslim for 10 years.
I am the father of 3 boys one who is hafith the Quran and the 2nd and 3rd who are right behind the eldest and almost hafith. I have one daughter and all of my children attend Islamic Madrasas full time here in Morocco. I went back to the states for 3 years traveling between our home in Morocco and my room in New York City every 3-5 driving a pedicab to save up for a restaurant I opened here alhumdululilah.Alhumdulilah our family holds Moroccan citizenship and has had it's presence in this city for over 800 years.
My view while radical in the sense of radically trying to wake up my fellow Americans to the reality of how bad the financier are shafting them. I do NOT support global Jihad as is the platform of Salafi Jihadis aka al Qaida and I see the Hamas authority on Ghaza as a model of how Islam should be established in our times. Life and Islam is based on facts not whims. Many people 'think' they have gas, only to make in their pants.
I have no criminal record & you will find that their is NOTHING that I have ever said that breaks USA law. The USA is a Constitutional Republic unlike Britain and affords it's citizens 1st amendment rights.I don't know what else to say except I fear not the blame of the blamer. When I was in the USA we preached what the sell out Imams would not preach in the Masajids and as Noam Chomsky said "Try to push your freedoms to the limit, because the Govt' is trying to take them away from you" (loose quote)
Fiamanillah,
Yousef al-Khattab
After receiving this MPACUK would like to apologise to Yousef al-Khattab. It is clear by the above post that we misunderstood. He had left the group, 'Revolution Muslim,' before the incident occurred. We are honestly very, very sorry to the brother. He is more than welcome to send in articles to our site that he has written for publication in the future.
We hope brother Yousef can understand that the author was simply doing their job in ensuring that Zionists, who are well known for infiltration of groups, are exposed at every opportunity. Thus the MPACUK writer acted with sincerity for the cause of defending Islam. Muslims must be vigilant in this time of oppression and attack, simply acting like 'pious' fools will not help anyone. Although this time the author was mistaken, the intention was correct - and we stand by it. We do not accept the criticism from some quarters, who have never lifted a finger in defending the Ummah but crow like old women when we sometimes make mistakes. How can a soldier who defends the oppressed take seriously the lazy, loud mouthed, bearded man who talks about Islam but never defends it.
Groups like Revolution Muslim remind us of groups like Al-Mahajaroun in the UK who we believe are heavily infiltrated and used as propaganda weapons by state actors. Ignorant arguments about 'Takfir' are worthless, and only used by people who have little or no strategic knowledge and even less knowledge about modern propaganda warfare and infiltration of groups by intelligence agencies. They are the arguments of children who know a little Islam but understand nothing of the great game being played.
Having said that, in trying to defend the Ummah, it seems an innocent has been mistakenly blamed. The intention was correct, but the research conducted by a part time volunteer led to this mistake. Many of the MPACUK team were distressed when we felt we had hurt a fellow brother and instantly wrote to Yousef to find his side of the story, which we hope proves we had no personal malice towards him. Our sole intention ever is to defend the Ummah, nothing less. The MPACUK team were very glad when we heard back from him, and instantly agreed he deserves an apology.
Once again we apologise to Yousef al-Khattab. What little we know of him, he seems like a good brother, who is sincere to the cause of God, may Allah protect him, the Ummah, those who fight to protect the oppressed, and bring our hearts together in this time of oppression. Ameen.
