NZF Filling the Niche

The National Zakat Foundation has finally begun to walk the talk and all praises are due to Allah. There is an urgent need for shelters to accommodate Muslims and in particularly, the women, who have unfortunately been placed at the bottom of society. 

MPACUK has always highlighted the need for the empowerment of women and we have dedicated resources to show that a woman is truly liberated when she walks the path of Islam. Muslim women have also contributed vastly to humanity, and the only thing that has stopped them from achieving is the colonial narrative of Islam, which is backwards, alien and totally unheard of. It turns women into objects of lust, instead of human beings with working brains. 

How sick is it, that we, as a community have failed our sisters: some of them have been homeless for simply demanding an education and some have turned towards prostitution, whilst having nothing but a park bench for a bed. We are a failure for following culture instead of Islam and until we admit this dark reality, we shall be ever more regressive. 

We hope that you support the National Zakat Foundation in their honourable, noble and Islamic mission to cater for the weak, deprived and oppressed in society. We should also pray and work for a future where both Muslims and non-Muslims alike are not in need for shelter due to oppression.

Now, we must start a cultural revolution in our communities, where such backward and un-Islamic philosophies enter the dustbin of history, to be replaced by justice and freedom.
