A Revolution in the Muslim World?

Surely this is a proxy war between Saudi and Iran. Saudi support the north and Iran arms the south.

The Yemens of the south claim they are being oppressed by those of the North who have taken much of their land because the south is richer in oil and the north want it.

What is going on in the Yeman beggars belief, thousands have been killed this year and civilians in displaced peoples camps have been bombed and strafed by North Yemens' Airforce. Appalling human rights violations, by both sides, have occurred.

What on earth have Zionists got to do with a muslim civil war?

Yemen twinned with Somalia ,Sudan , Irak , Libya , Iran , Lebanon ,Algeria ,Afghanistan etc. Failed despotic corrupt regimes ,exporters of terrorism and responsible for the brutal subjugation and murder of their own citizens . The' Ummah ' is nowhere to be seen - nice in theory but a little lacking in practical matters so much so that it required the intervention of NATO to end the suffering of Muslims in Kosovo and again in Irak by removing the blood thirsty tyrant Saddam Hussein .

Saudi Arabia is perhaps the most venal of all . Fortunately this artificial chimera will in time and when the oil runs out sink back into the desert sands from whence it came.

Scores of women and children are being killed in Saada, yet where are HRW? There are hundeds of fleeing refugees. Where is Judge Goldstein/berg/ wasser? Where are you people demanding that the UN stop this?
The region does not need one more bullet or gun or rocket or any weapon of war. It does not the Saudis or Iranians or anyone playing their vile games with peoples lives. It needs bread and medicine and books and schools and computers etc etc.

Shan - so it is not the muslims who shoot the guns that are wrong, It is Obama who gets the big whip out and makes them do it, does he? Why are muslims so ready to take up arms against each other - we constantly read about Islam claiming that the killing of woman and children is forbidden however what Islam claims and what Islam practises seem to be two different things. The bombing and strafing of women and children in the refugee camps is abhorrent -
unfortunately these horrors can't be hidden in todays world.

Why on earth muslims think that all their problems are because of Zionists really doesn't answer the question of why muslims are once again fighting muslims in their own country.

Much as you try and bring every muslim problem back to the I/P conflict in order to detract from the major problems in the M.E. countries it is an excuse that doesn't work.

If Israel and Palestine disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow, would the Sudanese stop killing the Darfurians, would Egypt stop killing the Christian Copts, would Iran stop seeking a nuclear bomb to destroy Saudi with (now that Israel has gone) , would the Lebanon become Christian again, would Iran stop mutilating it's protestors and hanging its gays,would Saudi let other religions practise in their country or would the civil war in Yemen stop?

Would all the refugees from Darfur and the Yemen also disappear overnight if the I/P problem was solved? I doubt it very much.

And it was Mohammed PBUH who said "war is deceit" as far as I know it is not a Zionist mantra.

And don't forget Irans intentions of a Shia crescent in the M.E. - do you really think there will ever be peace when M.E. muslims are still involved in sectarian strife - the west has nothing to do with Islamic internicene differences. Over seventy different sects all of whom think they are the only true believers and will fight to the death to prove it - the west got over that sort of stuff long ago.

But hey - if we solve the I/P problem all will be fine and dandy! Somehow, I don't think so. Would be nice though.

Sounds like fists of fury has never been south of Bradford let alone the Middle East! What a load of blame and bunkham.. Every one else's fault and a very narrow view of history. Muslims will go on slaughtering each other in vastly greater numbers than others doing it to them. The west is rightly frightened of the self appointed despots of the Muslim world - it has taken us centuries to throw out our clerics and bishops of hate - burning, torturing, child molesters (still some way to go!) and until the Muslim world throws out their evil clerics, calls their phony "scholars" to account and start to value individual Muslims as individuals - nurturing them, educating them (not just indoctrinating them), valuing them (and hopefully other human beings too. Abandoning their racist terminology like "Kaffir" and killing those who disagree about religious semantics.

Fists of Fury, or anyone else, tell me why killing another Muslim who decides (openly) that he no longer believes in Islam is right or even half civilised in the modern world I beg you!

Or why ordinary people - Muslims, Jews, Christians or Apostates should not be free to decide who speaks for them (democracy) or free to enjoy their private family lives without threats from neighbours who don't like their faith, the colour of their skin, what they eat or what they wear on their heads.

I was a Muslim once - I had to renounce the intrinsic hate and violence of my childhood indoctrination (maybe not the same for every Muslim) and grew to understand that not all Jews were evil, not all Americans want to crush the Ummah, Hindu's are not degenerates and that all life has value.

The Ottomans and Attaturk understood Islam... and removed it from their political world. They too had an empire that managed to unite and provide for all their subjects Muslim, Jew and Christian and it thrived for many centuries. Freedom of faith, quite a lot of freedom of speech, and a remarkable standard of living for ordinary people. Not so good for the Iman or the Mullahs!

So maybe there is something in this secularism, maybe Universal Human rights (which the degenerate Muslim states seem to want to re-write so badly) has something in it.

So FoF - grow up, get married, have children and get on with all your neighbours. Or go to Gaza (I'm sure you have never been there) and see how ordinary people are used as pawns. If you have a single grain of humanity - you will, after seeing the reality of the world, stop spouting this awful angry adolescent rubbish and do something useful!

Things were so much better in Yemen when half the country was the Marxist-Leninist state of South Yemen.
