Ramadhan Mubarak

We are fortunate to live to see another blessed month of Ramadhan in which we have the opportunity to become better individuals and attain the blessings, forgiveness and mercy of Allah.

We should remember how lucky we are to have a comfortable Ramadhan as we have a roof over our head, can expect food in our bellies for sehri and Iftaar and have all the comforts of not living in a war zone.

As always we would like to remind you to spare a thought for our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and other war torn and poverty stricken places, who are not as fortunate as us, who have been made homeless, widowed and orphaned, who have lost their lives, their families and the peace we all take for granted.

Ramadhan is the time to step up the efforts to help the Ummah. Ramadhan is the time to work extra hard to attain all the double blessings and good deeds. Ramadhan is the time to put all divisions and hostilities aside and extend the hand of unity and goodwill. Life is too short and the Ummah too precious for anything else. Open your hearts and let them fill with the love of the Ummah and Islam. Remember the Prophet (PBUH) who used to cry, tears flowing down his cheeks, for the sake of the Ummah and how he will be the only one crying 'Ummati Ummati' on the Day of Judgement.

This Ramadhan, as always, our teams will be out working hard for the Ummah, stepping up their efforts on the political and media Jihad to defend Islam and our brothers and sisters that are less fortunate than us. We would like to remind everyone not to buy Israeli dates, information of which is available on our website. Please spread the word to your friends and family. Also urge any shopkeeper you see to stop stocking them. Imagine opening your fast with a date for which the profits will be used to harm your brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Please also remember to donate generously for the Jihad, this Ramadhan, to defend our brothers and sisters. If you cannot spare your time then at least spare your money. Please make a donation here.
