Thursday 10th November Deadline for Babar Ahmed

Recently the free Babar Ahmad campaign has been gaining momentum, however, the response from Muslims and non - Muslims alike, is still not near enough what is required.

Just to remind you again, why your small contribution of a signature for the petition is so important. Babar Ahmad was arrested in 2003, without charge and has received horrific injuries since his arrest. All that is being asked for is a fair trial in the UK – a basic human right which has been denied for so many years. The US have requested extradition for his apparent support of ‘terrorism’ – something which Babar Ahmad denies. He was arrested in the UK, so extradition is a ludicrous idea, but currently is a real possibility.

100,000 signatures are required for the petition before 10^th November, for his fair trial in the UK to even be debated in parliament. It is shameful that something as basic as a signature has become too big an ask from us.
