Dr Zakir Naik Responds to the Home Secretary - UK Muslim Groups Sleep As Usual

Dr Zakir Naik, who has been banned from the UK due to a vicious campaign by right-wing Islamophobic think tanks, has responded to the baseless accusations against him and is planning to seek a judicial review in the High Court.

This wouldn't have happened in the first place had Muslims got politically active to defend their scholar who has always worked hard to build relations between the Muslim and non-Muslim communities as well as counter negative stereotypes about Islam. However, Muslims have always shown they can do nothing more than passively attend talks rather than defending those who actually do anything positive for Islam. What happened to their love for their scholars now?

The controversy surrounding Dr Naik has been in the media for some time, yet Muslims remained sound asleep and allowed their speakers to be banned whilst letting the Home Office allow speakers like Geert Wilders to enter freely and spread his violent extremism against Muslims.
