To prove elections can be held when they are foreign forces occupying a country i shall give you a few examples, Germany. South Korea, Japan

Elections and polls can be held in occupied countries, whether or not they are reliable is dependent on whether or not the occupier or some other source interferes with them, the polls that i presented from Afghanistan were done by independent organisations whose results were not interfered with (if you have some evidence that they were present it)

The reason why the afghan result were unreliable was due to Afghan supporters of Karzai, and maybe he himself, rigging the election, they did this in spite of the occupying powers not because of them.
It was western organisations which were the ones to uncover fraud in the Afghan election and it was western organisations which demanded a run-off, the americans were furious with Karzai, Biden when taking to Karzai stormed out of a room in anger after Karzai said their was no problem with the results.

Christianity spread by word of mouth and was not forced upon any European country, in fact it was outlawed for a time under the Byzantine Empire before the rise of Islam. As you well know, the M.E. was the Christian Byzantine Empire before the slaughter and conversion to Islam by the Arabians muslims. Muslims are Arabian - anywhere else they are not indigenous. They were parasitic, taxing and suppressing non muslims to send loot and slaves back to the Arabian Islamic Caliphate which had militarily captured the Christian Byzantine Empire.

Israel is a country of many religions and races. However, Shan is ONLY interested in Jews and an allegation that ONLY Jews are opressing Palestinians.

SInce Israel is a pluralistic society where Arabs are also in the IDF then the Arabs of IDF are ALSO "opressing Palestinians" (your statement). Since Arabs are also in Israeli Parliament then under Israeli democracy they are also responsible for Israeli policy.

Unfortunately for your particular perspective the expulsion of Arab Jews (semites) by the Arab states, including those parts of Palestine held by Jordan and Egypt after 1948, is absolutely relevant to the current situation.
One only has to pass through any of the numerous check points to encounter Arab Jews in IDF uniform, with their collective communal recent history and their understanding of Arab culture, to know that this wound remains open and bleeding. There is a housing crisis in Palestine and the arcane and inadequate Israeli administration simply compounds the problem. The issues of unsafe and uncontrolled construction are real, but these do not exonerate the Israelis from doing more to resolve the situation. It is no one's interest that this situation continues.
The PNA is also at fault for failing to work with the Israelis to resolve these continual problems. The corrupt bastards that expend all their energies on lining their own pockets at the expense of the ordinary people are to blame have done nothing to alleviate the problem. But then living their villas they hardly share the problem or experience.
The Palestinian people, not the "fighters", need work, housing, food, education & work. Not tomorrow, in some fantasy Palestine stretching from the River to the Sea, but today in today's reality.
Resolution will only come with dialogue and dialogue only comes when the violence stops. Both Israelis and Palestinians have a moral obligation to work for this for the good of everyone.
So instead of making stupid unfounded allegations of ethnic cleansing, why not email the Israeli Ministry of Housing and demand that they work to provide housing. Here's the emial address pniot@moch.gov.il

Intellectual Laziness & Fear

The root of the problem is intellectual laziness and fear.
Laziness insofar as people actively seek to avoid the complexity of the issues and the implications of their claims. i.e. If Israel is still the occupying power of the West Bank and Gaza and is therefore responsible for the inhabitants, then by extension it must have the authority to manage that situation. By extension that means the PNA has no or only partial legitimate authority. If the Palestinian nation wants self-determination and the authority that comes with that it has to accept the responsibility for the situation. Currently the PNA & Hamas, together with the various allies, are playing game of demanding authority while declining responsibility. This is of course unsustainable.
Fear is another problem. The challenges that the Palestinian people and the greater Muslim community face are complex, changing and quite frightening. Collectively we are frightened of the future because our simplistic perspective cannot provide for our needs. We thus enter into deeply entrenched positions of self-denial. Primarily this centres upon our own culpability for the situations we find ourselves in and the fundamental failures of our collective strategies. We repeatedly revert to positions of hatred and violence even though they have failed. We have created a cult of death and victimhood that has infected almost every part of our collective lives. We lack the courage to face the future and the changes that constructive engagement will bring, and as a consequence we are destroying our own community. Whether it be the Taliban killing hundreds through bombing Pakistani institutions or Palestinians polluting the acquifers, the end result is thousands upon thousands of dead and dying. We find billions of dollars to spend on weapons, yet cannot find a few piastres to buy school books, or basic medecines.
What passes here for commentary is largely irrational expressions of frustration and there is an absence of creativity. Our collective is self-obsessed, intellectually lazy, fearful and profoundly immature. We need to grow up and take responsibility for our own lives.

I just realised MPAC said "occupied Palestine.". There is no such place as "Occupied Palestine". Basic logic and knowledge of "Palestine" seem lacking.

"Palestine" was created by The Mandate For Palestine in 1922 and "Palestine" was a place for Arabs & Jews. Hence, neither Arabs nor Jews can claim exclusive occupation. Not even in Israel is it an exclusively Jewish state.

Jews cannot "occupy" Palestine any more than Arabs can claim exclusive rights to it.

The word "Palestine" was used in 1916: "In 1916, Britain and France concluded the Sykes–Picot Agreement, which proposed to divide the Middle East between them into spheres of influence, with "Palestine" as an international enclave."

The Balfour Declaration was Nov 2nd 1917 (one year after the word "Palestine" was used for a whole areas comprising what is now The Lebanon, SYria, Jordan, Israel and what I call residual Palestine.
