UKIP Declares War on BNP

Perhaps you should ask yourselves why people have voted in increasing numbers for these parties in recent years, and how the behaviour and demands of vocal segements of the Muslim community have contributed to that.

I hate the pair of these parties but if they do have any success at the next election I certainly know that the latter has had a contributing role in that in underming the social cohesion of this country.like no other minority in this country.

Because it is!

Perhaps if the UK Muslim (supposed) leadership spent more time helping Muslims integrate into the existing society and social structures in the UK instead of carving (forcing) a niche of separate development and special accommodations then the BNP and UKIP would have no oxygen.

When British Communities have had the nature of their traditions trampled-on and the assertion of what are still alien cultures and religious practises being so open and in-your-face then I understand why the BNP and UKIP have support for their views.

No-one would care about the Muslim rights of worship and religious observance if it weren't so obviously trying to spread and maintain a culture of separation and special rights instead of integration in a seamless way as other religions and immigrant races have done.

That word is a vile obscenity and slur, a false construct based on a lie.

Racists in suits who smile to your face and stab you when your back is turned.

The reason for their rise has nothing to do with islamists or any other nightmarish term concocted by the blogosphere.

mainstream parties are perceived as not representing the ordinary UK citizen, and thats why you have a rise in these fringe elements, who now garner mass appeal by their pretence of ditching their prejudiced past.

Where-ever these fascists have been elected, hate crimes have gone up, against ALL BME (Black, Minority & Ethnic) populations.

These two men exploit an obsession with minutiae and the medias & interest groups focus on these.
99% of people regardless of faith face the same daily problems and challenges.
We are ill-served by a media that avoids exploring the complex issues of the day and reduces everything to banalities. We are ill-served by elites that exploit this situation, and these elites are those amongst us.
We have allowed divisions to rise and being reinforced by introspection. It should be a matter of real concerns to us that there are those among us who are not functionally literate in English. Whether these are women hidden behind cultural identities or imams brought in to meet the demand sof elites, it is a problem.
To some extent there is a clash of cultures, and the rational response is to synthesise an accomodation based on mutual respect. It is not as I have sadly witnessed acceptable to use abominable language to defame someone who's values differ from your own.
The example I experienced was a group of boys who quite voluably accused a group of Catholic girls, who happened to be performing a piece of ballet, of being whores and sluts because they weren't wearing clothes that accorded to Quranic requirements. The girls were deeply upset and no doubt took that home and their parents attitudes would have been affected.
many of the people who influence thinking among the Muslim community are simply out of touch with the sensibilities of the majority and invariable say & do things with alienate. During the Salman Rushdie affair where there was book burning, it was clear that the leaders had no idea what book burning meant in western European culture and its assocation with fascism.
As a minority the Muslim community either seeks explicit common cause with the majority working class, or remains suspected and resented aliens. If you choose the latter then don't be surprised if EDL & BNP exploit the situation for their own ends.

What right does Mr. Farage seek the right to ban face coverings, and quite what does he mean by it. Does he mean that if I wear a scarf across my face, or a balakla I will have broken the law? I suspect not. Perhaps he means it should be required that all persons without reference to faith or gender may be legally required upon request to expose their faces in order that their identity may be verified for formal purposes.
Or perhaps he means it's easier to whip up absurd furore about Muslim women than own up to the bankruptcy of his own ideas.

Interestingly, and casting my aged mind back decades to the old Breach of Promise law, surely a person wearing any form of make up is in fact masking or altering their appearance. Is Mr. Farage going to demanded that women ( and men) remove their makeup to allow for positive identification? And what of cross-dressers / transvestites?
