Iran and Israel – Who’s The Threat?

The Israeli Flag

Just over ten years ago, we were informed by those who we should trust that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). We were told that Iraq was a major threat. Today, we know that all these statements were lies. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and as a result, Iraq was never a threat to ‘the west’. The countries that destroyed Iraq and are responsible for around one million deaths can’t even pretend that there were WMDs in Iraq.

Today we are hearing the same talk about Iran; apparently they have nuclear weapons developing and are a threat to the region. Sound familiar? The thing that puzzles me is that our army is losing in Iraq and Afghanistan and that is why we are withdrawing our forces from the area. So why make the same mistake again? Do politicians never learn? Ten years ago isn’t even a long time!

The Telegraph reported that the Defence Secretary of the Unites States of America was ‘concerned’ that Israel will "Attack Iran in April, May or June as Israel believes that Iran will make a nuclear weapon by then."

Iran has stated again and again that its nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes such as energy. Iran’s Ayatollah Khameinei said that any attack on Iran from the West will only make Iran stronger, "From now on, in any place, if any nation or any group confronts the Zionist regime, we will endorse and we will help. We have no fear expressing this.” Strong words but who can blame him when his country is being threatened?

Iran has said that it is a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and as a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and hence, it is entitled to use nuclear technology for peaceful use. The IAEA has carried out a number of inspections of Iran over its nuclear facilities; however it has never found any evidence of a nuclear weapon programme.

What do the Western Leaders say about this? President Obama has recently said that he would prefer if this matter could be solved diplomatically, "Any kind of additional military activity inside the Gulf is disruptive. And has a big effect on us. It can affect oil prices."

France’s President Sarkozy has warned of the dangers if Israel was to attack Iran. He went on to say such attacks “Would not solve the problem but would unleash war and chaos in the Middle East and, perhaps, across the world.”

Our Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, expressed concerns over America and Israel taking the matter into their own hands and attack Iran over its peaceful nuclear operations.

United Nations' Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, has said "There is no alternative to a peaceful resolution of this. At the same time I have been urging the parties to first of all try to defuse the tension. These rhetorics are not helpful."

So if we really take a look at what’s happening here, we will find that America, Britain and France are all concerned. We all know that Russia and China have no intention of getting involved whatsoever. It seems like the Zionist state is pulling the strings on its own without any real support. Maybe the American government are just going along with it so that the Zionists within the US support them in the next election. Israel is once again acting like a bull in a china shop. It was created from terrorism and it uses terrorism to exist by having wars with its neighbours. The only ones to benefit from this war is Israel and the only ones to benefit from the war in Iraq was Israel.

What can we do about this? ‎

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "If anyone of you witnesses an evil, he should correct it by his hand. If he is not in a position to do so, then by his tongue. If he is not in a position to do so then by his heart, and that is the lowest level of Imaan (faith)." (Recorded in Sahih Muslim).

Continue to boycott Israel. Don’t think it doesn’t works? It must do because that is why they are trying to make it illegal.

It hurts them, so let’s continue to boycott them.

Remember also lobby your MP saying that you, as a British Citizen, as a British voter and tax payer, do not want to see another war that will not only killing many innocent civilians but will also send our British Soldiers out to war to fight and sacrifice their lives for no reason.

Don’t be weak, be strong Muslims with the highest of Imaan Insha’Allah. Take action with your hand and use the speech that Allah has given you
