You can even hear Nawaz state that Chaudary was his solicitor in the past.
It seems that these are the only two version of Islam that the British establishment (via the BBC) want the British public to see, either an violent extremist or a secularist who rejects shariah.

Two graduates from a cult are the only two faces of islam on prime time TV representing Muslims.

But Muslims dont care much about the crisis that is engulfing them, they are too busy trying to make money and look after number 1 to take any responsibilty for their own community.

Both Maajid Nawaz and Anjem Choudhry are thoroughly despicable individuals.

Both were born into a muslim household , taught about islam from an early age but upon maturirty chose a life of fornication, alcohol and drugs before suddenly becoming world authorities on islam in record time!!!!! Both when i observed them closely had a lust and hunger for power and in Majid's case an almost "messiahnic" complex.

In Maajids case he has now swung to a third extreme! he now preaches apostasy and a zionist/ neo conservative approved form of islam!

But in one respect nothing has changed. Wheras in the 1990's Nawaz sponged off free state student grants and free higher education to fuel his self styled islamic revolutionary role,played out to packed rooms of campuses to impressionable young muslims boys and girls, he now finds it equally profitable to reinvent himself to assume the role of
.....well "islamic revolutionary" via the Quillam Foundation, which also houses his fellow apostate "ed hussein" and a man who was once thrown out of HT for his stealing cars while preaching "daawat" during the day!

Maajid is an unstable character who swings from one extreme to the next. Just like Anjem and just like fellow HT members Yahya Nesbit, Asim Jan and others. Anjem meanwhile is no different to Bakhri who also sponged and lived off benefits provided by the same state he sought to destroy while cultivating cheap celebrity for himself.

The newsnight "Interview" was a sham. Paxman treated both with less seriousness and more ridicule , than he did Dizee Rascal when he appeared on newsnight last year. LIke the rest of the audience he realised these two were foam at the mouth merchants, arguing and shouting in the most uncivilised manner and were frankly savages incapable of reasoned debate. So he just folded his arms and let them show the world what unreasonable so called authorities on islam are. Both me should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Although I would venture to state that at this juncture, shame is a concept both abandoned a long long time ago if indeed they ever possessed it.

We were told by Majid that Anjem had been his solicitor "in his murder case".....my my my is there no end to Majid's talents, on top of "political prisoner","former hedonist" and now apostate we hear he was also involved in a "murder case"??! I wonder how Majid feels at night when he thinks of the student who was murdered in east london at Newham college due to his and his fellow HT cohorts rabble rousing in the mid 90's, or how the black south londoner they used to do the deed felt about being left to rot in prison?

I dont beleive he is as callous or coldblooded in tarnishing the name of islam like omar bakhri mohammed has done and think one day he may repent and stay silent as he has shown when he opens his mouth it is frequently the voice of the ass that emerges.

As for Majid Nawaz I beleive he is on a very dangerous road as the recruiting sargeant for the new generation of hypocrites and apostates. He and Ed Hussein have made theyre bed and they shall surely lie in it.
The Quillam Foundation are just a bunch of opportunistic chancers made up of former HT members, ex-criminals and fornincators and drug and drink abusers many of them - who have no islamic credentials be they moral or intellectual or theogical, and have a total disregard for community cohesion - and just do things to satisfy their neo con paymasters so they are seem as a group that are fighting extremist to justify taxpayers money they received and want in the future.

That said given the lust both have to remain in the limelight who knows one day they may even join forces and set up a new think tank together! Just to add to the confusion of course!

I don't know what you think about the debate but it all just seemed a little too sinister and staged to me. Anjum does know Majid from before back in the 90s during his HT days. He was on tv with him last year in a debate on BBC1 with Nicky Campbell presiding as chair. This event was obviously being used to present the Islamic Caliphate system as something medieval and fanatical.
