NIQAB Ban

If you re-read my comments about the niqab, you will see that I put "security issues" under quotes. This is the justfication Western governments are using to ban the niqab. Personally, this reason is poor and I disagree with the ban outright and part of my reason for stating that you should use the law of the land (to the highest court) is that if the ban took place then FIGHT IT LEGALLY, using every legal means that are available. Criminals use Human Rights legislation to get reduced sentences, and I can't see how innocent Muslims can't use similar laws. It needs to be challenged. The sooner, the better.

I also believe that a few idiots wearing full veils to do robberies is no reason to do a niqab ban. This is like saying all Niqabi's are potential criminals. But these criminals who have used the niqab has not helped the case against a niqab ban.

WAR ON TERROR

I also see the War on Terror, as a War against Islam. I also see the divide-and-rule. So, I am in agreement with you there. Governments do not see that the "terrorism" they see is a REACTION to the injustice taking place against Muslims by Western Governments interferring is Islamic Nations (taking their resources, putting into place puppet leaders, etc). While Injustices exists, then some Muslims will take things into their own hands.

If any nation needs to be brought to account, it is Israel who has more UN violations than Iraq ever did.

While I agree with you on the above, at the same time, I cannot agree with those Muslims who live here, benefit from this country's law and security, health services, freedom of practicing their religion voa Mosques, Schools, who then (without thinking) say "these people are against us". Not while Muslims enjoy the things which I had listed. Sorry, but Islam tells me to speak the truth and I wil give credit where it is due.

As a revert you may have many issues of democracy, the society at large, and you may have been let down by them. But Muslims COME into WESTERN countries because they do not find the freedom, the security, the jobs, the laws, back in their home countries. This is an indicative that most-Islamic countries are not implementing true Islam, and not that Muslims prefer the western way of life.

Benefits
======
The topic of benefits came because you mentioned immigrants doing the worst jobs, while the 'indiginous' were on benefits and couldn't be bothered to work.

I have NO OBJECTIONS to those who GENUINLEY NEED the benefits. This means those who have lost their jobs (until they find another), a single mother who has kids, those who have a crippling disablilty, those who are homeless, etc. In fact, I am glad that some of my taxes help them. The needy.

But, lets be honest. There are Muslims (and I speak about Muslims here) who, despite being perfectly capable of working, of being in good health, have decided to live of benefits because of convienience or while working secretly. While I do not wish to tarnish all Muslims under this, I refer to those Muslims who claim benefits but

1) Knowingly hide their money from the state (deliberately keep small amounts in their bank accounts)
2) Work more than 16 hours (night moslty), but claim they do only 16, so that they get max income support and housing
3) Have properties abroad (and in the UK) but claim housing assistance
4) Exaggerate their disability to get more benefits
I could go on.

I hope you join me in condeming them, because the income they are getting, or the housing they are getting, is NOT HALAL for them because their (true) circumstances do not warrant them to get such assistance. And Islam forbids a single penny which you do not deserve. Any money earned by lieing, deceiving, knowingly witholding information, cannot possibly classed 'halal'. But try telling them that and they look upon you as a fool.
