Well Done To Muslim Who Confronted BNP

Raciist UK Poltical Party, British National Party (BNP) Leader Nick Griffin

A British Muslim businessman who confronted British National Party members when they put a leaflet through his door has said he feels "vindicated" after being found not guilty of threatening the men.

Mohammed Latif, 38, was accused of swearing at Duncan Warner, 44, and Gerard Williams, 54, and calling them "Nazis" before trying to snatch their leaflets. The two men had been distributing BNP leaflets in Stockport when they were approached by Mr Latif who decided to speak out against the distribution of racist literature to his home.

The court chose to believe Mr Latif that he was handing the leaflets back as he did not want his wife or two young sons to see them.

Speaking after the case, Mr Latif urged people to stand up for what they believe in.

He said: "I feel vindicated. I was an innocent man who was dragged through the courts, causing a lot of distress to my family and friends. I do not want other people to go through what I have been through but everyone should try to find a voice to defend their beliefs. It is so important."

MPACUK Comment:

We congratulate Mr Latif on speaking up for his rights. Clearly he is a Muslim who believes as a community and as individuals we must stand against the BNP whose agenda is to fuel a wave of Islamophobia in the UK.

We would like to see more Muslim community leaders and mosques taking a stance against the BNP by engaging in political and civic participation in British society. The  "burying your head in the sand" attitude of many Muslims is of no benefit to our community in these troubled times.

What a breath of fresh air, a Muslim who actually stands up for his beliefs.Someone who obviously had to go through the legal hurdles and tribulations of a court case but despite all that has come out as a brave winner.Mr Latif I salute you!

The BNP leader looks like a pig- maybe they eat so much of it they are now looking and acting like one. Oink Oink!!

They do say...

After all they do say you are what you eat :P

If only more Muslims stood up

If only more Muslims stood up and told ''Nick Friggin'' to go and BNP off.

(The other alternative to Nicholas Griffin is Nickerless Friggin.
Hence the reason he shortens his name to Nick so that people don't realise)

The pain of making the necessary sacrifices always hurts more than you think it's going to. I know. It sucks. That being said, doing something seriously creative is one of the most amazing experiences one can have, in this or any other lifetime. If you can pull it off, it's worth it. Even if you don't end up pulling it off, you'll learn many incredible, magical, valuable things. It's NOT doing it when you know you full well you HAD the opportunity- that hurts FAR more than any failure
