Blair: We Are Losing The Propaganda War

Tony Blair - Former British Prime Minister

The West is being 'outspent, outmanoeuvred and out-strategised' by Islamic extremism.

Those were the words of former prime minister Tony Blair speaking in New York to the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

After 9/11, Blair tried his utmost to push his own narrative about Islam and Muslims. He did this by defining and grouping Muslims into 'moderates' and 'extremists', all this to deflect from the real reason for Muslim ire, his foreign policy which involved the killing of many innocent Muslims is really what irks Muslims.

At the address Blair claimed that the West has failed to challenge the 'narrative' that Islam was oppressed by the West which was fuelling extremism around the world.

In other words he is admitting failure in trying to hide the truth and justify the murder of millions of innocent men, women and children.

Muslims have only one thing to say to Blair and all his cronies, so called 'Islamic extremism' is not to blame for people going off the rails at the sight of their slaughtered children and wives, the real issue at hand here is the foreign policy that you and your puppeteers devised and enforced in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine.

Ideas and narratives are such powerful tools in shaping how people think about a certain issue and governments continue to use them to gain public support.

Blair goes on to mention that 'blogs and websites' have a real part to play in this issue. Was this a tacit way to call for a clampdown on websites such as ours? If so, this is a prime example of a ploy to silence the truth.

The truth though is simple and so is our message. Our Muslim brothers and sisters are being oppressed, and it is our duty to Allah to stop that oppression and the most powerful way you do that is through the medium of politics and the media.

Fulfil your obligation to your Lord, join or fund the political Jihad movement to free the oppressed.

"Those who profess to favour freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will."
