Yvonne Ridley Congratulates MPACUK & Slams Paid Zio-Commenters Attacks
Congratulations to everyone who took part in this superb demonstration of people power - a concerted effort using telephones, emails, debate and peaceful lobbying illustrates just how effective we can all be when we're united in one cause.
Thanks is also due, in part, to the owner of the Meezan Superstore ... sometimes it is easier to dig in and be obstinate than admit you're wrong. By clearing his shelves of blood dates he has now led the way for others to do the same.
Well done MPACUK and your supporters.
@ Any Mouse Cow (a commenter on the MPACUK website) - yes I was sacked from two places of work because I refused to accept injustices which were thrown at me. If you are going to stand up for others you have to learn to stand up for yourself as well - which is why I successfully sued and won both cases against unfair dismissal.
I wouldn't shake the hand of any man, it was nothing personal it's part of my belief.
Read the article I wrote before saying I berated anyone - I questioned the influence of western pop culture creeping into the nasheed industry.
And I hardly remain silent on Press TV you silly, silly person - I'm a presenter for Agenda and Rattansi & Ridley and I would be sacked if I sat there and said nothing.
Now instead of trying to undermine the excellent achievements made by MPACUK why don't you get off the sidelines and do something worthwhile that will earn you praise instead of ridicule and contempt?
