Malicious Mad Mel

Melenie Philips witch

Nothing makes one more euphoric than seeing a Zionist Islamophobe seethe at a loss; the most recent being George Galloway’s landslide victory in Bradford West. Melanie Phillips had to of course rant in her Daily Mail post, about how this is supposedly dangerous. This article is going to digest her latest piece, that will make one laugh (as her assertions and assumptions are ridiculous) or cry (because sadly, a significant proportion of the population believe her).

“Galloway won because young Bradford Muslims turned out for him in droves.
They did not vote for him because he was promising them better public services. They did not vote for him, indeed, on account of any British domestic issues. They did so because he tailored his message to appeal to their religious passions and prejudices about conflicts abroad.”

Notice how she gets in a tiff about Bradford’s Muslims voting in droves. Secondly, she lies by claiming he wasn’t offering better public services to the community, when their campaign leaflets clearly address concerns about the NHS and tuition fees.

“Specifically, he campaigned against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and for the Palestinians, declaring that his victory would help satisfy voters’ ‘duty’ to care about such grievances.”

These are indeed valid concerns of the British taxpaying citizens, seeing as it is our money that is being poured in to fund these illegal and unjustified invasions and occupations. So what is fundamentally wrong with his campaign?

“The point being so resolutely ignored is that Galloway ran on an Islamist religious ticket. It wasn’t simply that he was pandering to Islamist foreign policy obsessions. He made explicit references to Islam throughout his campaign.”

“‘All praise to Allah!’ he saluted his victory through a loud-hailer — having previously told a public meeting that if people didn’t vote for him, Allah would want to know why.”

The use of the word ‘Islamist’ is another sensationalist nonsensical noun that has entered the English vocabulary and should be eliminated. Linguistically, Islamist means one who believes in the supremacy of Islam and hence, any person who is a Muslim is an Islamist, as they believe Islam is a superior choice. Islamist is as pointless a word as a Judaist, Christianist and what about Buddhist? Again, her rant makes no sense; there is no complaining when MPs pander to the Zionist lobby, yet all hell seems to be break loose when they apparently pander to the Muslim vote.

“Indeed, declaring in one address that ‘God knows who is a Muslim’, he implied that he was even more of a true adherent of that faith than Labour’s Muslim candidate who, he suggested without a shred of evidence, drank alcohol whereas he himself had never touched the stuff.”

“Pinch yourself — a British politician using the inflammatory rhetoric and professions of Islamic piety more commonly heard in Iran or Saudi Arabia.”

What’s so inflammatory about admitting you are a teetotaller? Are Quaker Christians also inflammatory for believing in the same principle? Also, if anyone has ever been to Iran or Saudi Arabia, I highly doubt you’ll find people professing how they have never drunk alcohol, or who is a bigger Muslim (unless of course you are in Melanie Phillips's version of Saudi Arabia and Iran when playing The Sims).

“Just as such religious hucksterism inflames millions of followers in the Islamic world, so certain unscrupulous British politicians have now realised they too can tap into the same well of irrational hatred to deliver them electoral victory.”

I’d love to see her attack 'religious' Rick Santorum, who wants to minimalise separation between church and state. But she probably wouldn’t, because he loves Israel and seems to have issues with Iran.

“And those loyal Muslims who serve in the UK’s Armed Forces will doubtless be particularly horrified by such cynical support for Iran or the Taliban.”

Oh please! Don’t pretend to be supportive of British Muslims. You know full well being part of Centre for Social Cohesion, that you always inflate the threat Muslims pose to society, as well as being a blatant Islamophobe and racist; remember the rant about the ‘moral depravity of the Arabs’?

“Yet with so many now so profoundly turned off mainstream politics, there is a real risk that millions of disaffected voters will sit on their hands at future elections — thus giving radicalised Muslims the opportunity to begin reshaping the political map of Britain.”

I didn’t realise radicalised Muslims have a powerful political lobby that could effectively dominate British policies. Eight out of 650 MPs are Muslim, though I doubt any of them are ‘radical’ as per Mel’s fantasies. Also, of the few Muslims that are ‘radical’, like stooge Anjum Choudhary, they believe engagement in British politics is forbidden!

“There has long been concern that Livingstone has aligned himself with the radical Muslim Brotherhood, whose goal is to conquer the free world for Islam, and has also pandered to Iran by working as a presenter for the Press TV channel owned by the Iranian regime.”

Again in order for her comments to be true, there has to be a strong political lobby. The Muslim Brotherhood struggled to get in, in Egypt, let alone the ‘free world’. She is ranting about Ken Livingstone, who last time I checked, did not turn London into an Islamic republic.

“Since when was making London a ‘beacon’ for a foreign religion a legitimate goal for any British politician, let alone a priority for a British city mayor?”

Oh I didn’t realise Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism are all what she'd class as religions of England. Does she want us to all become Druids? I am tad confused. Moses, Jesus, Guru Nanakh etc. were all British, were they? Also what about Boris Johnson's visit to the Jewish care home: was he making London a beacon for Judaism?

“Jewish Labour Party supporters who met him for a private discussion reported that he had said he did not expect Jews to vote for a Labour candidate because they were rich.”

Notice the phrase 'because they were rich' and not beacuse they were Jewish. Calling a community affluent is hardly racially offensive, in the same way calling Tower Hamlets a poor area is not racist towards Bengalis.

“Galloway has fawned over both Saddam Hussein and the Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad, whose regime is slaughtering untold thousands of Syrians, but to whom Galloway has paid homage as ‘the last Arab ruler’.
Both suck up to terrorist regimes such as Gaza’s Hamas or Iran, the latter declaring regularly its intention to wipe out Israel.”

Not being funny here, but many British politicians have a history for supporting despotic rulers: we are still supporting them in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to name a few. Demonising Galloway for supporting Assad is not exactly a convincing argument to be against him, as the same can be said for many British politicians, unfortunately. Again, she has propagated the lie about Iran wanting to wipe Israel off the map. Furthermore, where is her evidence that Livingstone and Galloway are supporting Hamas? Again, she is clearly living in some sort of twisted fantasy world where this stuff happens. I highly doubt the two of them would be allowed to run for British political offices, seeing as Hamas has been decreed a terrorist organisation.

“There is also a corresponding danger that Galloway’s victory will have galvanised radicalised Muslims by showing how to drive a devastating wedge into British politics.”

What she means to say is, "There is a danger that if Muslims become political, then oppression towards Muslims will stop and support of Israeli terrorism will cease.”

“The very democratic process is at risk of being turned into a vehicle for the promotion not just of religious bigotry but of the destruction of the West itself.”

Is this the same democratic system that allowed Livingstone and Galloway to be previously elected? Clearly Mel wants a tailored 'democracy', the kind they have in Israel.

To conclude, in order for Mel’s fantasy of a Hamas-Iran-Islamist controlled Britain, there has to be a strong political lobby in the first place, as well as empirical evidence upon which to base her claims fantasies. Since when did London and in particular, Bethnal Green and Bow turn into Islamic states under Livingstone and Galloway?

For those Muslims who are reading this, it goes to show that when we Muslims take even a little action, it hurts our enemies - the Zionist Islamophobes. We must become politically active to ensure our rights, domestically and abroad are protected and hold all our leaders to account, and yes that includes George Galloway.
