Can The Real Bin Laden Please Stand Up

Osama bin Laden

Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani told a joint conference with Gordon Brown that he does not believe Osama bin Laden is in his country.

An apt time perhaps to remind you of the findings of a recent US senate report which confirmed that Bush and Rumsfeld had a chance to catch Osama bin Laden in 2001.

But surprise surprise they didn't. How else were they going to justify killing millions in Iraq, the continued military presence in Afghanistan and their agenda against the greatest "evil", Iran.

Well there's a bloody

Well there's a bloody surprise.

How else were they going to

How else were they going to justify killing millions in Iraq

Could the writer of this piece please provide a credable link which proves millions(plural) of iraqis were killed, the highest estimate I saw was the ORB estimate which claimed 1.2 million iraqis died. Oddly the ORB poll also showed most iraqis prefer life under Maliki than they did under Saddam

Dmoloney when saddam was in

Dmoloney when saddam was in power most polls showed people preffered his rule.
Millions of iraqis have been killed since the first attack and the following decade of seige, which resulted in the occupation of iraq in 2003.
The occupation is leaving one more present for the iraqi people, cancer rates in iraq have hit the roof, since the americans attacked using radiaition weapons, it seems even when they leave they shall keep killing iraqis.

If you have any evidence that

If you have any evidence that a scientific independent poll was conducted which showed this please present the evidence shan.

Millions of iraqis have been killed since the first attack and the following decade of seige, which resulted in the occupation of iraq in 2003.

Again Shan that is not true, the number of Iraqis who died in the first gulf war is considered by most experts to be 30,000, the santions along with other factors killed 400,000 while this war has claimed the lives of acording to the last ORB figure a million, so that brings the figure to a bit over 1,430,000, that means over a million iraqis died, not millions, also i was using the high estimates, other estimates put the number to be much lower.
Oh by the way didnt you keeping ranting on how you dont support estimates, changed your tune a bit, didnt you.;)

Dmoloney still wish to play

Dmoloney still wish to play with words, the words were i use the iraqis killed as a example because they can be verifed if there is a dispute.
The estimates for those killed in the initial attack on iraq and subsequent decade of seige is between 1 and 1.5 million of which 500,000 were children ,the number is based on estimates of deaths in iraq, is more than two million ,when the current million plus deaths have been taken into account.

Fraid that isnt what you said

Fraid that isnt what you said shan. you were quite clear that estimates were not reliable, yet here you are supporting them, you could at least try and be consistant.

The number who died due to sanctions and other causes is around 400,000 heres the link
http://www.casi.org.uk/info/garfield/dr-garfield.html

So if you add that the ORB million figure(which I might add said more iraqis prefer life under maliki than saddam) you have around 1,400,000, and as said before the article implies that millions died after 2001

Domoloney more deceit will

Domoloney more deceit will not help, the blog where i used the iraqis kiled as a example is still active, you can refresh your memory, lying is not going not help you.
Since 1990s millions of iraqis have been killed as a direct result of american attacks and invasion of iraq, you like googling for estimates,so google.
consistancy is something you need to learn, either you beleive in estimates or you do not.
i do not beleive in estimates that cannot be verified as stated by me before.

Since 1990s millions of

Since 1990s millions of iraqis have been killed as a direct result of american attacks and invasion of iraq, you like googling for estimates,so google.

And google i did, the number of iraqis killed do not go beyond the 2 million mark 400,000 for sactions 1 million for the current war. Adds up to 1.4 million. So the millions figure is not accurate.

All good estimates can be verified indeed, however on the 30th of november you did not specify this, instead you said that you do not trust estimates quite clearly.

countercurrent.org since the

countercurrent.org since the 1990s to march 2009 2.3 million iraqis have died as direct result of the attack and occupation of iraq.
in june 1997 in a report verifed by the U.N it is claimed more than a million iraqis had died because of the attack and seige of iraq.
Adding the number of dead by1997 and now it makes millons of dead iraqis ,it just goes to show that racist zionsit will do anything to play down crimes against muslims.
playing with words will not help, you can scrape the proverbial barrel ,you still have not answered do you beleive in estimates or not, i beleive in estimates that can be verifed.

Shannaginans

Shan you are using sources and links which are so out of date and unreliable most people would have been embarressed to use them 5 years ago not to mention now.

CounterCurrent is such as stupid site they dont seem to be aware that the lancet counted violent and non-violent deaths. Also Gideon Polya is trying to claim 2.3 million people died in iraq from 2003 not from the 1990s, dont you even read your own bizare websites.

I dont try to rely on silly blogs, i rely on studies and no study has shown that 2 million have died. the WHO survey below states the number at 151,000,http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2008/pr02/en/index.html the ORB places it a million(and showed more iraqis are happier under maliki than under saddam which you keep ignoring),http://www.opinion.co.uk/Newsroom_details.aspx?NewsId=67
Lancet had estimated around 650,000 violent and non-violent deathshttp://web.mit.edu/CIS/pdf/Human_Cost_of_War.pdf, the health ministry which counted all the death certs came up with around 87,000, http://abcnews.go.com/International/WireStory?id=7411522when the associated press threw in the estimated numbers of those killed in the years in which certs were not being correctly tallied the number was 110.000, the United Nations Development Programme Iraq Living Conditions Survey found the figure in 2004 that it was around 40,000

in june 1997 in a report verifed by the U.N it is claimed more than a million iraqis had died because of the attack and seige of iraq.

That information is old, more recent studies have been done, this one for example,http://www.casi.org.uk/info/garfield/dr-garfield.html
the actual figure is 400,000, even the UN believes its earlier estimate were flawed, heres a good article on reason magazine about the sanctions http://reason.com/archives/2002/03/01/the-politics-of-dead-children/1

also if you bothered to read the unicef you would have found that they never claimed that sanctions were the sole responsibilty but that they were part of the problem. Also they did not say one million died due to sanctions in 1997, lots of newspapers mistakenly claimed that they did.

it just goes to show that racist zionsit will do anything to play down crimes against muslims.

Throwing insults around again, shame, also your not being consistent, your using UN figures(exaggerated ones) for sanctions but then you decide to ignore the UN figure for the Iraqi war dead which was 151,000 deaths, not a million. Heres the link http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2008/pr02/en/index.html

you still have not answered do you beleive in estimates or not, i beleive in estimates that can be verifed.

I answered this ages ago on another thread, you really have to start paying attention to what is written.

Dmoloney a insult to a

Dmoloney a insult to a zionsit deceiver is the truth, the fact that you play with the death of millions of muslims as a numbers game shows you to be a racist zionist.
do not worry the day shall come when the occupiers are paid in kind and then we shall talk about numbers as a game.

I see that your comment

I see that your comment doesnt contain a single factual comeback and instead you simply lower yourself to spewing insults.

Ill take it you couldnt think of anything.

Dmoloney the facts are there

Dmoloney the facts are there but since you wish to play the numbers game ,then there is only one way to that, which once the occupeirs are paid back in kind then we shall play the same game as you.
as the death of millons of muslims here and now is a numbers game for you, no one can force you to beleive the facts that have been quoted the only way people like you realise the pain and suffering of others is when you pick up the bits of flesh of what was once your son-daughter-mother-father-brother or sister until then its all a game.
keep playing the game while it lasts for you.

Oh fuck off moloney. Your

Oh fuck off moloney. Your tactic is and old tired ploy - "argue the numbers".

If i argue the numbers of Jews killed in the holocaust you'll get your tits in a tangle and call me a nazi, but its not a problem when you start arguing numbers Muslim dead.

Calm down princess, my point

Calm down princess, my point is fair, when has any survey stated that millions of Iraqis have died, second I couldnt give a flying fuck what you say about the holocaust, if you actually did stumble on reliable evidence that said the figure was 1 million instead of 5-6 million i wouldnt bat an eyelid

I can't edit my post, but

I can't edit my post, but apologies to all readers for swearing. Moloney's behaviour is reprehensible and I'm sure everyone will understand my reaction.

There is no difference between him and a holocaust denier.

For figures see the lancet study of 2006 and factor in deaths since then and also how half a million iraqi children died during sanctions.

I can't edit my post, but

I can't edit my post, but apologies to all readers for swearing.

I cant believe you fucking swore.

There is no difference between him and a holocaust denier.

Petty insult, a holocaust denier is basically someone who ignores proper historic evidence to deny that a large number of people died, im not doing that, a large number of iraqis have died, im just taking issue with the exagerrated figure which is given, just as id take issue if someone said 12 million jews died in the holocaust.

For figures see the lancet study of 2006 and factor in deaths since then and also how half a million iraqi children died during sanctions.

But if you take the lancet number,650,000, through in the sanction number 400,000 and add another couple of hundred thousand the number does not reach the two million mark and therefore the word millions(plural) cannot be used. Also the article implies that millions died after they "supposedly" let Bin Laden go, so actually no you cant count the sanctions number

You mean the Discredited Lancet Study

That Lancet study has been so debunked its embarrassing. And yet people cling to it because its a big number and they like big numbers cos it makes things seem much worse.

Do the studies tell us how many Iraqis were killed by fellow Muslims?

I think there pretty high

I think there pretty high too, the reason im using them though is to show even with the large estimates the figure does not go up to 2 million.

You Filthy scum!

Osama bin laden is the

Osama bin laden is the boogeyman to be used to occupy and destroy muslims nations.
whenever the people question the american war crimes in iraq and afghan up comes bin laden or his side kick to remind the american public ,we are still around we gonna get you,so the american people once again fall into line.
A perfectly tried and tested method of control, you are under attack only we can protect you.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri issues Fatwa against suicide bombings & terror

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri issues Fatwa against suicide bombings and terrorism

LONDON. In the wake of terrorist explosions and suicide bombings in Pakistan and Afghanistan a leading Islamic scholar has issued a ‘Fatwa’ condemning the perpetrators. The 150-page religious verdict by one of the foremost Muslim authorities, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, declares suicide bombings and terrorism as totally un-Islamic.

Unfolding the background of his religious verdict during an overcrowded press conference in Lahore via video-link from Canada, Dr Qadri said that “a torturous wave of terrorism has been maligning Pakistan in particular and the Muslim Ummah in general for many years. It is evident that while the Muslims as a collective entity condemn, resist and fight terrorism, and are not ready to accept its remotest possible link with Islam, there are some extremists who are also seen supporting it. Instead of opposing and condemning it openly and downrightly, they confuse it, making it a hotchpotch.”

Dr Qadri, in his Fatwa booklet published in three languages, explained in detail, with particular reference to Qur’anic verses and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, that perpetrating attacks against innocent citizens, carrying out massacres, suicide bombings and the destruction of national assets and property “is absolutely against the teachings of Islam and that Islam does not permit such acts on any excuse, reason or pretext."

He made it clear that his religious verdict was neither in support of the US and its allies, nor should it be taken as an approval of their policies in the region. In the same way, it did not support the disputed policies of the government of Pakistan and its unpopular style of governance and undemocratic attitude.

The published religious verdict is available to download from http://www.minhaj.org
