War of Words as Others Attack Quilliam
No sooner had the first shot by Quilliam been fired at Islam Channel, the MCB hit back in a press release saying:
In their report published yesterday entitled 'Reprogramming British Muslims: A study of the Islam Channel', the Quilliam Foundation resorted to their trademark tactic of mischievously conflating the issues of social conservatism and violent extremism in a desperate bid to smear and undermine the UK's most popular Muslim television station, the Islam Channel.
iengage, the new Muslim political lobbying group, has written to Charles Farr, Director-General of the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism, which funds the Quilliam Foundation, concerning the QF’s latest report, ‘Re-programming British Muslims: a study of the Islam Channel’, stating Quilliam's report was nothing more than smear and poor analysis.
It seems the press has largely supported Quillium's stand, while most Muslim groups are either silent (hiding, unaware or undecided), Muslim blogs however have to some extent come out in support of Islam Channel. The Blog 'From Leeds to Palestine' called Quilliam a tool of the Zionists.

Looks like the Qulliamites are trying to cash in before their budget runs out like what happened to the SMC (Sufi Muslim Council).
The government will so realise the these 'bought for cash' type of Muslims are useless even to them and will drop them like dead flies overfed on excrement.

By the way, academic Ron Geaves has published a new biography of the original Quilliam dude, whom the aforementioned organization named themselves after. Rather than being the "first British Muslim" as Sir Edward claimed, he supported the Ottomans and might even be described as an "Islamist." Duh!

Maj and ed are on nice letter earner out of all of this, It is the MCB and MAB job to show the government up for what is doing a exercise in vilification the muslim community.
I ask the simple time tested question who voted for these people to represent british muslims,also the fact that the government allows extremist racist thugs of the EDL to harass-intimidate-racially abuse and attack ethnic minorities under the guise of protesting against extremism,should be enough for people to understand everything is happening according to script.

It should be a hate crime for anybnody running around with words like "Muslims need to be reprogrammed". Why don't they start it with their sick heads?
