Reader's Opinion: MPACUK Stop Bashing Sufis

Your site seems to talk a lot of s*** about Sufis, I don't sit in any dark rooms reciting anything. I know if I was sitting in a dark room the only thing you would be reciting is "Don’t kill me we are both Muslims".

You want to talk about something, how about you are a ***** homo & your Islam is externalism, you haven't even found your heart & you are a slanderous coward.

I don't hope any people are killed but I will send my dua out & you can deal with it like it was a stroke on your brain ... how fast it will travel across the Atlantic & into a place where you least expect it?

MPACUK Comment: We do hope you do not feel MPACUK target Sufi's unfairly, MPACUK holds all sects and schools of thought accountable based only on one thing, are they prioritising the protection of the oppressed people of this world, if not then we feel we should challenge any belief they hold in order to change that.

In the past MPACUK has been critical of Sufi's, Tablighi Jamaat's and Shia groups again based on the priority of the Ummah over lesser important matters that many of the teachers within these groups seem to teach.

Lastly please also note that MPACUK is non sectarian, and members of MPACUK come from all backgrounds: Salafi, Sufi, Tablighi or Shia. All however believe that the Ummah is in distress and a change in what is considered a priority needs to take place. If anyone from any school of thought would like to discuss this or any other matter feel free to come to one of our discussion groups and talk with us.

Glad to see that MPACUK is non sectarian.

 

Sufi's and the Shariah

A prominent Sufi Dr Siddiqui is bashing Islam and muslims on the BBC today, saying that the law of Allah s.w.t. is not good enough for muslims and they need the law of kufr to protect them.

Was Dr Siddiqui upset that he has not been in the news for a while or that there are not already enough stories in the media which are negative about muslims and Islam?

What do Sufis actually believe in then if Allah is not enough for them?

 

Old Sufi's V New Sufi's

The Neo Sufism that we see today is one that has been taken over and pacified.

You have to remember that some of the great mujahids, like Imam Shamil who fought the russians in modern day Dagestan in the mid 1800's was from the Sufi order.

As was many of the Chechen resistance that fought against the russians recently.

The Neo-Sufi's have been pacified and seduced by promises of wealth and power (Ramazan Kadyrov) while others preach the government sponsored line of pacifism like the the stooge haris rafiq of the government created pet project the Sufi Muslim Council.

I suggest that the true Sufi's out there go and reclaim what they represent, before you lose it forever.

Not Cool

Good point and I like the term - Neo-Sufis, I suggest this website take it up so they are clear that they are not against Sufis' in general.

I also agree that real sufi's need to do more to claim Sufism back. Sitting meditating in a dark room while people suffer is just not cool

Sufo-hypocrisy

The foul language and lack of respect shown by this "sufi" just shows how much of a hypocritical system neo-sufism is. Where is the spirituality in using words like these?!?:

As if this person *has* found his heart.
