Donald Trump announced during his Presidential campaign at the AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee) conference that he would move the US embassy to Jerusalem as President. He is now fulfilling his pledge.
Trump has now announced he recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Commenting, MPACUK spokesman, Imran Shah said:
“For a very long time now, the 2-state solution has become nothing but a talking point for pro-Zionist organisations, who claim they want peace. However, they have also defended the illegal Israeli colonies in the West Bank and Jerusalem amoung the many rules of International Law that Israel has broken. It is no surprise that organisations like AIPAC and the Netanyahu government are willing to risk peace, by pushing for the US to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, because peace was never their objective.
Rather Israel and the pro-Zionist movement want a 1-state solution. This is one of many steps for Israel to control the whole of Palestine, denying the existance of Palestinians with it.
Everyone, from individuals to nation states, should call out Israel on it aggression and push against it at least until the existence of a Palestine becomes a reality.”
