Muslims, The EU and Israel Print E-mail
Thursday, 30 April 2009
ballot_bullet.jpgA very important date for the Muslims is coming up pretty soon and hopefully you’ve prepared yourselves and got it noted in your diaries. That date is Thursday the 4th of June, and you’d better highlight it, as it is the day of the forthcoming European elections.

Now, why on earth would anyone go out and vote in the European elections, I hear you ask. Britain doesn’t play that great a role in Europe does it? Although, as Steven Sakur says on the BBC website, none of the British parties advocate a federal Europe, Britain does make a huge financial contribution to the EU, and we are being influenced more and more by decisions made at the EU.

Right now, we, the British public are paying £65 billion into the European Union and this fee increases annually. That is money that could, and should be spent on improving our healthcare and other public services. If we were to pressure on our MEPs and local MPs, to put our money to good use then that is what would be happening. However, it is the Zionists who are, as usual, ahead of the game. They have been lobbying at the international level to push through their own agenda, and what is at the top of the Zionist agenda? The needs of Israel, of course.

Because we Muslims are not raising our voices, the Zionist lobby has already managed to secure the EU-Israel Trade Agreement. This means that, although it is outside of Europe, the apartheid state is able to import goods into Europe without paying import duty. It uses the money to oppress, murder and ethnically cleanse the Palestinians. By not trying to prevent the political powers from doing this, moreover, we are condoning it and letting the criminal behaviour continue unchecked. So, if you care about the Ummah then all you need to do is take the simple steps of finding out who is in tune with the needs of the Muslims and then voting for them.

No doubt there are some who believe that voting is haram. Let’s see, which is haram, really – getting the Muslim voice heard and respected by the people who have taken charge of running our countries, or shutting up and allowing a group of power-hungry Zionists to set an increasingly oppressive agenda for the entire Ummah? We European Muslims should, in fact, be at the forefront when it comes to political action. Turkey, the nearest Muslim country to the EU is denied EU membership because Muslims don’t speak up about Islamic issues. It is, in fact, primarily the duty of our community leaders within the mosques and ISOCS to educate the Ummah and in the UK this could be as simple as setting up voter registration and providing information on election candidates.

Whether or not this happens, it is your duty as an individual to try and stop oppression in its tracks. Don’t be a bystander any more. British Muslims have watched terror unfold for long enough and insh’Allah we will make it stop. Register to vote and find the best candidate. Then on the 4th of June, take a few minutes out of your day to cast your vote and show that you will not rest until Muslims are once again treated with respect.

When is the voter registration deadline?
What about the spectre of Nick Griffin?

The write is clearly talking through his rear end when they say "Turkey, the nearest Muslim country to the EU is denied EU membership because Muslims don’t speak up about Islamic issues."

Turkey is going through the membership process now. There are many laudable objections to Turkey joining as it is.

Taalib - rest assured you can vote for Nick Griffin as the most anti-Zionist candidate.

I will definitely be voting, but who for am still undecided. The big 3 parties all have anti Islamic policies, however they have advantages and pro islamic qualities within them too e.g.
Conservatives - the support of a family and its values, traditionalism,
Labour - traditionally the party of the 'Muslims', however I doubt they will have such a strong showing in what is a minor election really.
Lib Dems- wacky liberals, most of there policies are actually anti Islamic, however there laissez faire attitude on immigration and race is what will reach out to younger Muslims

Paul M, you are incorrect. Griffin is courting the Zionist vote;- anything to get him into power. He has stated clearly on the BNP website:

"While Israel’s no-holds barred self-defence undoubtedly gives Islamist recruiters good material with which to radicalise some of their less motivated brethren, Israel’s extinction would provide them with even stronger arguments in favour of Jihad. The most elementary study of their rhetoric shows that they do not regard Israel as the great enemy, merely as the catspaw of Christendom. They may be right or they may be wrong, but that is what they believe; the destruction of Israel would therefore make them even bolder and more aggressive. Thus while we would oppose any move to entangle Britain in war on behalf of Israel, it is in our clear national interest that it should survive."
“Israel’s Gaza Affair”, January 6, 2009

Here he is killing two birds with one stone. Stoking anti-Muslim feelings whilst at the same time signaling he is no danger to Israel which he in turn hopes will make people forget the paranoia induced anti-Semitic booklet he wrote "Who are the Mind Benders".

As for Labour being the traditional party of the Muslims, I think that love affair is at an end, suddenly, the Lib Dems stance on Israel not supplying arms to Israel does not seem so wacky any more.

Youve got to remember the Lib Dems last elections were agreeeing to the war in the rural areas, and in inner cities, (Birmingham and Manchetser) especially they were against it. They are the biggest snakes, even bigger than the Tories or Nu Lab

Commando, to which war are you referring? And can you quote any evidence? And is it the case that individual members of each party must always tow the party line or do you think that, for instance, some Labour MPs had a difference of opinion, or that Conservatives don't all think the same?
