Unfortunately some journalists have picked up on the fact that writing anti-Islamic pieces is a sure-fire way of boosting their careers. A prime example of this is Melanie Phillips who used to write for the Guardian, then switched tack and joined the Mail.

We need to know who is the voice of evil.Please advice us do an article on who are the people behind them, the programme editors and producers their bosses the newspapers the scholars etc. Name them and shame them TELL US SO THAT WE MAY KNOW WHO IS FOE AND WARN OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AND FAIR MINDED ACQUINTANCES

Oh please - get off your high horse fellas. Bernard Levin is dead, Conor Cruise O'Brien is not a journalist, he was an Irish Senator and it is been years since I've seen anything of his in print. This piece clearly outlines that you do not understand the media - it is very simple. The media is business, and business is profit. Easy profits come from sensationalist reporting and us Muslims are the biggest fools as we give the media enough rope to hang us with. If we were a little cleverer at media management, then trust me, we would have a very different press. You will always have cranks like Melanie Phillips, but so what? They should be allowed to express their critique just as we should. You fail to mention people like Madeleine Bunting or Gary Younge as impeccably fair commentators with a very high profile and so you do yourselves no favours. You want the media to be nice to you? Be nice to the media. Well catered press conferences, easy to use press packs, goodlooking media-genic spokespeople, pre-empting the story, NOT reacting to it, setting the news agenda - really its NOT that difficult. But I guess it's easier to whinge isn't it?

Although I agree with Adam on the "media business" side of things; there needs to be clear distinction between criticism and neo-con propaganda. If something is untrue and misrepresented then it needs to be corrected or at least there should at least be a request that it should be corrected; this is a polite request.In terms of media management; yes there is a case for this. The Muslim community however is not a centralised entity and we also have our fair share of the lunatic brigade. I recognise that some of us forget that most media outlets publish sensational articles simply to make money; this year’s (decade’s) favourite is the nutty Muslims. Majority of people including journalist are not motivated by ideology but money (getting things into print)Adam, if you feel you have a better understanding of the media and think you can make a better job it, why not contact MPAC. I’m sure that they would welcome your help. We can only build up media savvy organisation but you have to start small (MPAC?)

All the fears on ISLAM were created by stupid lairs and with zero knwlodge for proof a book called ISLAM AT WAR written by GeorgeF.Nafziger and MarkW.Walton calling them self researchers,the publishers Pracger Publishers,88 PostRoad WestWestport,CT06881.In that book in page 242 , they stated that A muslim assassin killed Mahatma Gandhi on Janury30th 1948. This is only a sampale pahragrahp to point .that book contains tottal lies against ISLAM.Dear brothers .
