Assalaamalikum Brothers and Sisters, We Muslims have stood and watched our Prophet SAW being dishonoured not once but twice, this time in a French Newspaper called France Soir who said it had published the cartoons (previously published in a Danish Newspaper) to show that "religious dogma" had no place in a secular society. This has nothing to do with freedom of speech and absolutely everything to do with being Islamphobic and to show us the Muslims that they are and will continue to push the boundaries. There are sub-liminal messages being sent out here to tarnish the Ideology, which is Islam. Portraying our beloved Prophet as a terrorist, essentially says that we are all terrorists. The cliché, if you say something often enough, people will believe it, ring a bell! If we don’t make a stand now and demand that our voices be heard on an issue that should strike at the cord of every Muslim, then maybe we should ask ourselves what kind of Muslims are we? What are we here on this earth for if not to serve Allah SWT by protecting what is most dear to him. We should love the Prophet SAW more than we love our parents. None of us would tolerate the dishonour of our mother or father, so this should be even more intolerable to us. Allah asks the Prophet to remind his Nation that it is essential for those who claim to love God, to love His Prophet: "Say to them: If you love God, follow (and love and honour) me, and God will love you" (3:31). This obligation to love the Prophet, means to obey him, to remember him, to follow his example, and to be proud of him as Allah is proud of him, since Allah has boasted about him in His Holy Book by saying: "Truly you are of a magnificent character" (al-Qalam 4). The Prophet SAW on the day of judgement will intercede on our behalf before Allah SWT, who knows who will be set from the shackles of Hell because our beloved Prophet loved us enough to intercede for us! Prove how much you love the Prophet SAW, make a stand, and let your voice be heard. We have become such pacifists and are letting our rights being eroding away as Muslims. It is a slippery slope and we are travelling at an astronomical rate towards it. Sleeping Muslims, we are helping this cause and we are responsible. You need to join this JIHAD and now! Wake up, wake up and let the Ummah rise to defend what is most precious to us!!! This issue is just a drop in the ocean there will be many more and they will be far worse, that is the direction in which we are heading! So what are you going to do?, this is an ongoing Jihad and one that should be a part of our daily lives, to safeguard our rights and the rights of our children. One of readers broached the subject that the caricatures of the Prophet SAW were published in Sept 2005 and it took us 4 months to bring this issue to light. Well readers, tell me, why do you think that is? Perhaps the next few paragraphs may enlighten you somewhat!
