The Government has banned a book
by the retired Scotland Yard Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman, which
gives a behind-the-scenes account of the 7 July attacks, the shooting
of Jean Charles de Menezes and the fight against terror.
Not that I expect this book to be exactly "Muslim Friendly", but what's
the Government trying to hide? Its a complete disgrace that so called
"freedom of speech" is banned whenever the government wants it to be,
but Muslims get that phrase thrown in our faces whenever we call for a
little common sense regarding things that offend us. Whether its books
designed to mislead the public against Islam, or verbal attacks on the
Muslim community by politicians who want to pander to the fascists in
this country, it seems to be open season on Muslims in the name of free
speech.
If we called for moderation on those things, what do you think would be the standard response? Readers have left 6 comments.
LOL:
One thing is for certain, the book will not be peddling the disgusting, insane and completely unfounded conspiracy theories about 7/7 being touted by some people at MPAC.

Another marketing stunt to exploit curiosity, but once you've read it, you'll realise it's actually full of crap!

I do agree that it is sad that this book will probably not be published, although sadly there actually may be some valid reasons based on national security that could be breeched and therefore it can't be published. Although, if this were the case, surely only parts of the book would have to be censored.
And also as long as people are aware of what the government have done, there will always be plenty of people fighting and complaining against the government, quite rightly so. To be fair, it doesn't matter whether it's to do with Islam, Cristianity, Politcians expenses or whatever, there will be a cry from the 'freedom brigade' as long as this gets out there in the wide press.

If so, where is your argument or proof for it being "full of crap"? Do you work for the British government? Law enforcement? A police force? Maybe you work for a private security company? Or you're a researcher at university doing a PhD on this very topic? Maybe you're a book critic? All those things help in making statements about this book. You don't necessarily have to be one of those things, I am just saying it helps. You could be a private individual who has read the book and have developed an insight or opinion on its contents. If so, please share with us. Otherwise, you're full of ****. And here's my justification for saying that about you: I believe you're commenting on something you haven't even read. The fact that your comment has no supporting evidenvce, has lead me to this insight about you. GOD!!! I HATE STUPID PEOPLE AND THIS SITE SEEMS TO HAVE A LOT OF THEM.
