The BNP could face a legal injunction over "potential breaches" of anti-discrimination law.Leader Nick Griffin was pelted with eggs earlier this month. The Equality and Human Rights Commission has written to leader Nick Griffin saying the party's constitution, membership criteria and employment practices could be breaking the Race Relations Act. The letter demands the BNP make the changes required by the Commission by July 20. The Commission says it will apply for a legal injunction against the BNP if the party does not do this. In a statement it said: "The Commission has a statutory duty, under the Equality Act 2006, to enforce the provisions of the Act and to work towards the elimination of unlawful discrimination.
