Covering Up Iraq Enquiry Confuses Army Chief |

We're used to hearing stories about Gordon Brown being out of touch and
running things from his little bunker in Number 10, and recent events
have highlighted this even more.
Britain's chief of the general staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt revealed that he " wasn't privy
to the discussions about how this Iraq inquiry was going to be done"
and that he believes that unless the enquiry is transparent, the army
is never going to move on from the fiasco of the illegal invasion.
It seems Brown hasn't really consulted many people before deciding to
hide this all under the rug. Even Ed Balls (supposedly one of Brown's
closest allies) has openly said that the enquiry should be public.
If he thinks that the blood of Iraq's children and mothers can be swept
aside and that he can hide from all of this, then he's mistaken. The
blood will trickle out from underneath the rug and the stains will
never go away.
One thing's clear - instead of trying to weasel out of every difficult
situation, Brown should grow a backbone and face up to the illegal
actions that have been committed by this government. It's up to every
Muslim in this country to ensure that they're pressuring their
political representatives to make sure that this happens; and it's up
to every mosque to rally their congregations behind the move to ensure
that this enquiry is fully transparent.
If you would like help on doing this, or your local mosque would like some assistance, MPACUK is here to help you. Get in touch by emailing info@mpacuk.org
