In a piece on the Guardian's Cif titled 'Our shunning of the MCB is not grandstanding', Hazel Blears goes through the reasons why the Government wanted Dr. Daud Abdullah of the MCB to be sacked from his position.
What is disturbing is why she would use the morally bankrupt cesspool 'Harrys Place' as a source of information?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...lcomments=true If you read down to the third paragraph (as below): That is why we have been asking the MCB to find out whether their deputy secretary general, Dr Abdullah, attended the conference and signed the statement. The MCB has now confirmed he did attend and did sign the declaration. You can clearly see where the Right Honourable Minister and Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government gets her information from. Perhaps Hazel Blears could explain why a front line Cabinet Minister finds it suitable to direct readers to an extremist hate-mongering site? Does the Minister who is charged with delivering 'community cohesion' accept the views and content of this website as similar to her own? Is she or her office being guided or influenced by people who run 'Harry's Place'? Could she confirm if she is being pressured in anyway to behave against this countries interests? We gladly await her reply. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Article History: Hazel Blears: Why the government will not talk to the MCB until Dr Abdullah resigns This article was first published on guardian.co.uk at 18.05 GMT on Wednesday 25 March 2009. Harry's dump:
Your article should not link to a web-site you condemn. That gives the enemy more hits and money.

If she is your MP and you are a Muslims you really need to be worried.
You need to call for her resignation before she follows more extreme orders from her hate filled puppeteers. If a member of parliment is reading or getting information from extremist site then they should be held accountable. Shame on you Blears. You should resign.

Says it all really, that an elected offical in charge of such a crucial portfolio, ensuring that the UK's communities (lets be honest here the Muslim community really) are fraternally meshed on 'shared values' (some would say imposed values when it comes to the Muslim community) is in fact citing and using as her research this toxic and candidly Islmophobic (don't be fooled with the Islamist smoke-screen they use) website. This is deeply worrying and I intend to write to her about this, can somebody list her parlimentary contact details for a written correspondence.

I find it astonishing that the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government should turn to an insane website like Harry’s Place for assistance in her work. Perhaps Hazel Blears is unable to work out that this site is not objective. How can she justify being responsible for the well-being of communities and brazenly say she uses this hate-preaching site to inform her direction? Contrary to many, I did regard her as quite fair-minded; a view I can’t hold anymore.

Was the information true?

I have an idea why Blears linked to HP. Coz HP was referenced in glowing terms by Ruth Gledhill (the Times religions correspondent) on her blog on this very issue. Fair to Ruth, she's quite nice to Muslims by Murdoch standards, albeit too easily convinced by the anti-Muslim nasties. When I saw the HP link, I was saddened but not surprised. She's the kind of person MPACUK needs to engage in dialogue rather than combat. When she mainly hears from the likes of HP, and most of the Muslim input she gets is hate messages from the usual jihadi nutters, who do you expect her (and her mate Hazel) to believe?

Taz:
Yes "Harry's Place" is an Islamophobic website and it promotes Israel's violent occupation against the Palestinian people. Not surprising since it is run by Zionist extremists and everyone knows that Zionism is an intrinsically racist and vile ideology.

'Harry's Place' is a vile website. I would like to know if Hazel Blears agrees with the likes of David Toube and other Islamophobic contributors to the site.
