Muslims Busy Sleeping While Political Power Slips Away Print E-mail

vote.pngAssalaam alaikum and Greetings

This is due to the fact that the President, the politicians, the businesses, and anyone high up in the political and business system know that AIPAC (or the Jewish Lobby) has so much influence on their careers and businesses.
The Muslims, on the other hand, are insignificant in comparison.

And why shouldn't the up and coming politicians fear the Jewish Lobby?

While Muslims were busy sleeping, shouting "no-voting", "khalifah", "kaffir laws", etc, etc, for the last 50 years or so, Jewish people were busy consolidating their positions from World War 2 in the political arena, the banking systems, and the businesses, to the extent they have become so powerful that they can bring businesses and politicians down.

They are UNITED in preserving the state of Israel and their faith irrespective of the costs - unlike Muslims.

We Muslims can hardly complain why we are the most 'backwards' in most forms within our societies if we haven't done anything to further our cause and do not appoint people who can take us forward. Instead, we allowed self-appointed leaders, illiterates, and the ignorants to lead Mosque and Islamic countries - people with no thought for true Islamic values unless it suits them.

Muslims of USA voted Obama mainly because he is a LESSER threat than the openly hostile McCain. Given the choice, they chose the lesser of the 2 evils.

Had they chosen to not vote owing to voting being "un-Islamic" then chances are McCAIN would have been president owing to the close call of the polls. This only goes to show that voting DOES make a difference. HT, are you reading this?

The Khalifah is required, and no Muslim will deny its benefits, but talking "Khalifah, Khalifah" won't get you anywhere. 1st you need to get Muslim leaders to speak to each other and agree. You need to take away the concept of nationalism : "I am an ARAB Muslim, I'm a Pakistani Muslim", etc. Good luck in this.

You also need to instil the correct leader, which the Muslim masses will follow, which means appointing him based upon knowledge, leadership qualities, experience, etc, etc, and using VOTES to get him nominated. Just like Abu Bakr was ELECTED to be the chosen leader by the community after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) passed away.

Democracy isn't just about instilling man-made laws, which the anti-voting Muslim brigade think it is all about. It is about the population VOTING for who they think is the best man to run their affairs.

In this sense, democracy is perfectly valid. I note that HT also intend to use "democracy" (voting of the Muslim masses) to appoint the head of the Khalifah, if and when they get round to it.

Obama has said he's prepared to attack Pakistan and send more troops to Afghanistan. How does that make him less hostile than McCain? Is it because you Muslims don't value the life on Pakistani or Afghan Muslims as much as Iraqi or Iranian?

Are you a scholar?
NO.

We do not need to imitate the kuffar.

Muslims have our own way of doing things.

You may have come across nationalistic tendancies in some so-called muslims, then I suspect you have spent too much time in a ghetto, most Muslims are constructive members of society but they are not holding up a man-made system as you appear to want us to do so.

For someone who obviously has a brain, it is a shame you have not sat in the company of a group believers.

brother sultan, i think you need to read the literature of hizb ut tahrir regarding their views on democaracy and the whole issue of electing and accounting the khalifah. you may not agree with them but atleast you will understand what their arguments are. this is quite important as i have noticed theres too many people on this website who due to their ignorance of ht culture and also due to some serious arrogance make comments which are far from the truth. also they seem to make false statements and attribute it to ht and hence furthering their cause for involving oneself in western democratic systems. you bros/sis need to learn to respect each others views, and not lash out for disagreeing with the opposing views. mpac you seriously need to understand this. you are becoming desperate now as there are too many articles slandering/attacking ht. you are really behaving like animals as this is what animals do. forgive me for comparing you with animals, but your comments about muslims groups, mosque leaders etc. has gone too far. your rise to fame is solely due to your unislamic attacks on the muslims community. some of you have the sincere intention but this is not enough to enjoin the good and forbid the evil. your actions also need to be in accordance to islam and with the correct adhab. i pray mpac does one day comes to sense and proceeds in a more islamic way.

Wsalam sultan
You raise a few good points however we need to as Muslims encourage each other to vote, and it should start at grass roots level 9family and friends). I believe that there are certain groups out there that discourage voting (e.g. tablighi jamaat, certain ahlesunnah groups etc) but these groups are far and few between. A lot of Muslims actually want to see a high profile Muslim going for eletion or at a high position in the Government. This is where encouragement comes along, and to encourage and enhance the reputation of brothers and sisters going into politics. Remember Sultan, you are going to make the same mistake as the Khawariij, and the Neo Salafists who criticise other brothers, and obviously take it to the extreme (declaring the blood of another Muslim ok to spill). Hoever am not suggesting youre anything like them, just making a point that Unity is best,
