zionistblocking.jpgWhat do you do when Islam is under attack? Not just in Iraq, but in the newspapers and TV everyday. Do you silently frown or do you voice your opinion?

What do you do when you hear that young Muslims die everyday, not just killed by armies but killed in racially motivated attacks on the streets of Britain? Do you say a silent prayer for their families? Do you hate that people are ignorant about Islam? Do you wish you could educate them?

Or will you sit back and do nothing?

What do you do when Muslim leaders appear on Newsnight and can’t answer questions about important political debates? Do you shrug and choose to ignore it?

Or do you feel that more needs to be said or done to get such topics on the agenda?

What do you do when those around you say that Islam is a religion that oppresses women? Do you agree? Do you disagree and stay quiet?

Or do you strive to give women the rights they truly deserve?

What do you do when you find out that Muslims are wrongly accused and imprisoned? Do you accept that this is how the world is now?

Or do think that there is something you can do to change this?

In life, there are two types of people: Those who only talk the talk, and those who actually walk the walk.

MPACUK not only walks the walk, but leads in the revival of the Muslim Ummah from its self-imposed slumber. We work hard every day to educate people. We understand that it is impossible to change the world single handed, but by educating even just one person we believe we can start making a difference.

This Sunday, will you take that step to change your situation for the better? As a Muslim, what will you do?

“Not equal are those of the believers who sit [at home] without any [genuine] excuse and those who strive hard and fight in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.” (Quran 4:95)

"What Do You Do?"

- Well you join HT to make a real difference. HT fighting for the political revival of the Caliph, to lead the Ummah. But we must first improve ourselves before we can expect help from Allah (swt).

HT all the way.

@In Da Zone:

HT is Masha'Allah doing some good work but surely Islam is not just about perfecting yourself and damn the rest of the society. What have you done for Interpal, as it faces closure? Has HT got an action alert on their website, get your 50,000 signatures on a petition to support them? IHRC; MCB;FoA etc all covering it, what about HT? Surely Islam teaches us to defend the oppressed not just perfect ourselves whilst we await the Khilafah?!!!!!

I have attended a HT meeting and every other word was Khilafah. As for voting is haraam, not as haraam as letting people die because you're so brain washed you can't see the greater evil by doing nothing.

By all means perfect yourself, but help others in society less fortunate too, as you will be accountable on the day of Judgement. As for non-Muslims - is our duty to be amongst them to spread the deen, as our beloved Prophet SAW did, not segregating ourselves as HT members seem to do.

I am not HT.

Just we need to rectify ourselves. The reason most people will ignore, Mpac, MCB, ISB etc. Is not because they do not care, but that the level of emaan is not high enough, if it were then every muslim coming across the action alert on this muslim org or other website would act, but they will not. This is why it is important to raise our levels and improve ourselves. Once we have done so more people would be likely to react to such action alerts. I am not saying we do nothing meanwhile, but to be more effective MPAC needs to employ a two pronged approach 1. To raise awareness, and how to act to stop islamophobia, but it also needs to 2. spend time on helping itself and the ummah return back to the teachings of Islam.

Only a complete approach will succeed insh'Allah.

Let us all pray for the Ummah, and ask Allah to help Interpal.

lol so if we have to 'perfect ourselves' before we do anyting ..whats the point of trying to get khilafah ..we are not perfect ???

Are you have Tablighi half HT? lol...or a confused muslim in general?

Lets perfect ourselves before we stop our ummah being slaughtered - great idea!

Good post brother - but you cannot perfect yourself UNLESS you help the Ummah.

The Prophet PBUH said 'Any muslim who hears the cry of a muslim who is being humiliated and does not help them, having the ability to help them (all of us can do something) Allah will humiliate that Muslims in front of all creatures on the Day of judgement.

So fighting Jihad IS PART OF FOLLOWING ISLAM AND DOES NOT COME LATER ..WHEN ONE IS PERFECT ..for one can never be perfect until he partakes in Jihad.

One day Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) noticed a Bedouin leaving his camel without tying it and he asked the Bedouin, "Why don't you tie down your camel?" The Bedouin answered, "I put my trust in Allah." The Prophet then said, "Tie your camel first, then put your trust in Allah" (At-Tirmidhi).

That is why I am first responding to the MPACUK Action Alert and complaining to Lloyds and IBB - and then making dua that Allah grants our efforts success insh'Allah!

@Saleem

You obviously know very little about Islamic history, go and study brother.

When the Muslims leave the Sunnah invariably they suffer. - Paraphrased from? (answers on a postcard)

And if any of you don't know this how can you expect to know the best way to help the ummah?

When did I say that both acting and praying were mutually exclusive. Please re-read my original post.

Really I do believe you. But how many people did you email about this action alert?

Did you text all your friends and family to get involved in this campaign?

I rest my case.

May Allah (swt) reward you for any good you did in this matter.

@In Da Zone:

Have you ever attended an MPACUK meeting to know what their approach is? I know people in MPACUK and have attended a few meetings and every meeting I went to they did an Islamic circle teaching muslims about the fard upon them and giving knowledge about the deen. Knowledge without action is foolish and action without knowledge is madness.

That is such a poor response ... and the Sunnah does not say, lets 'perfect ourselves' while the Muslims are can die.

If you care about the Sunnah ... ACT to save them! ..that is perfecting yourself.

Khlifah is secondary to Jihad brother.

Where does it say in the sunnah, to imitate the kuffar or to support the world system of dajjal?

Learn about your deen bro.

Yeh right, I believe you, a superficial two minutes before a meeting are not the same as being a real student or studying under a scholar or attending a study circle.

As much as it may be well intentioned, study about Islam from a scholar.

Just learning about Islam isn't enough, you have to learn about the problems we are facing so that we may overcome them. Sitting with a scholar is fine but doing dhikar all night or day isn't going to help anyone. Reminiscing about the Khalifa isn't going to help the millions of muslims now but action may.

Well a scholat is a very general term - a scholar in what? Which part of islam?

do you know anything about Islam? - Can a scholar teach khalid bin waleed how to fight? Or Saladeen how to capture jerusalem ...dont be so silly .

These days most scholars tell you minor points of islam, but real world issues facing the muslims they have not got a clue about.

subhanallah,see individually you are making some brilliant points,but collectively we see the real solutions developing,sometimes you have to give cliche's,..a hand has four fingers and a thumb,BUT CLENCHED TOGETHER YOU HAVE A FIST and a force to be reckoned with..ALLAH HO AKBAR
(16) 2008-11-22 01:16:37
right, wrong, who cares...:

And here lies the problem....while action needs to be done, people arguing on who is right and who is wrong, and quoting wisdom verses and so on..

Just send the alert to your relatives, spread the word, write, and we can talk about who is right, who is smart, who is a better Muslim, who is what, later on over a cup of tea.
