Lloyds TSB Pressurised To Close Interpal's Bank Accounts Print E-mail
Monday, 17 November 2008

actionalert.jpgOne of Britian's largest banks, Lloyds TSB has, under mass pressure from the Zionist lobby, ordered the closure of charity Interpal's bank accounts.

This is not the first time.

Interpal, a highly reputable charity which provides aid to the Palestinians living under a brutal occupation has previously had its accounts frozen by NatWest, after a smear campaign was run aginst it via the conduit of the charities commission.

After many erroneous smears against the good work done by Interpal, not one single charge has been upheld by the charities commission.

Interpal, is highly successful in the charity work it undertakes and thus is always under the watchful eye of the powerful and ruthless Zionist machine.

Killing innocent children, depriving villages of water, shooting pregnant women, bulldozing homes. These are just a few of the things the Israeli forces are doing at present to the Palestinian population.

You would think that was bad enough.

As they continue to torture the Palestinians, organisations like MPACUK and Interpal are constantly thriving to bring them relief through campaigning and aid.

The closure of Interpal’s bank account is a clear attempt by the well oiled Zionist machine to stop any assistance reaching the Palestinians. This is their attempt to allow the persecution to continue by obstructing the transfer of funds to those who need it most.

The last time Interpal’s bank accounts were frozen, MPACUK ran an immediate campaign to resolve the issue.

Once again, we are leading on this issue and will be providing you with the latest and most up to date news on the matter as well as things you can do to help. Don't forget to follow through our action alert, Let Lloyds TSB know exactly what you think of their cowardly behaviour.

Please let us know your views on the matter. If you are interested in helping MPACUK with this campaign email us at info@mpacuk.org.

Why don't they open an account with the Islamic Bank of Britain or a number of other Arab bank's based in London?

Salaam all,
Please stop with the bickering. Lets concentrate on the task in hand. Whether the work is behind the scenes or in public let each do what they can. Write to Lloyds.

Tell them they have been arrogant! by not giving any explanation!

Tell them, in no uncertain terms that You will withdraw all money from your Account.

If you don't have an account with them, then say you will get everyone you know, who has an account with them to do the same, i.e. your partner's, brother's, sister's, friend', neihbour's, collegues etc.

I rang Lloyds Press office and asked why Lloyds were closing Interpals’ accounts
the woman said that they ''do not comment on individual client relationships''

When I then asked if Lloyds were at all concerned that Lloyds’ actions may lead to the deaths or starvation of children, and asked what Lloyds thought of that, they said that they did not have any comment.

Most ordinary people, if asked the same question would be mortified and would say they would change their actions, or be highly concerned.
There was not the slightest of either, not the slightest emotion from them.

This would appear to be a heartless Company, with no comment to make on the possible death of children as a result of their actions.

And remember this is within days of the death of Baby P. Is that Baby Palestinian?
Maybe that’s why Lloyds could not care, is it because those babies are coloured?

Interpal are known to have supplied money to Hamas. Hamas killed a number of fellow Muslims who belonged to the Fatah organisation. They continue to kill Muslim and non Muslim. I would have thought you were against Muslims being killed? Lloyds have stopped handling money from Interpal because they know where it goes and what it is used for.

And no, Lloyds is not racist.

salam to all, i have also emailed Lloyds about this inhumane and insane decision which will bring devastation to many lives in Palestine, people who already suffer on a daily basis. And to add insult to injury this decision will come into force on 08/12/08 which is possibly the day of Eid al Adha, what a gift on this day of supposed celebration.

Maybe there's an opportunity to mobilise action. Maybe we can start showing that foreign nationals who go to Israel to live on illegal settlements or to volunteer in the IDF must revoke their citizenship in their countries of birth or be held accountable for violating international law.
