What do you do when Islam is under attack? Not just in Iraq, but in the newspapers and TV everyday. Do you silently frown or do you voice your opinion?
What do you do when you hear that young Muslims die everyday, not just killed by armies but killed in racially motivated attacks on the streets of Britain? Do you say a silent prayer for their families? Do you hate that people are ignorant about Islam? Do you wish you could educate them? Or will you sit back and do nothing?
What do you do when Muslim leaders appear on Newsnight and can’t answer questions about important political debates? Do you shrug and choose to ignore it? Or do you feel that more needs to be said or done to get such topics on the agenda?
What do you do when those around you say that Islam is a religion that oppresses women? Do you agree? Do you disagree and stay quiet? Do you strive to give women the rights they truly deserve?
What do you do when you find out that Muslims are wrongly accused and imprisoned? Do you accept that this is how the world is now? Or do think that there is something you can do to change this?
In life there are two types of people, thinkers and doers.
MPACUK is a team of doers who work hard every day to educate people. We understand that it is impossible to change the world single handed, but by educating one person we believe we can start making a difference.
What will you be a Thinker or a Doer?
“Not equal are those of the believers who sit [at home] without any [genuine] excuse and those who strive hard and fight in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.” (Quran 4:95)
If you want to make a difference or find out more about how we make a difference, our next event is:
