A 12 year old boy.
Just twelve. As fragile as a dozen eggs. He is your son, your nephew. Your brother, friend. Barely a few feet high. Just goes to school. Plays. Buys sweets after. Then is shot straight back to Heaven. What is it with these sick Israelis? They talk of ‘‘the rules of engagement’’. Well this boy won’t have an engagement. No wedding for him. No children. No family. Laughter. Happiness. His mother will weep. His father won’t come home. His precious little boy gone. His delicate little life taken. When will I see him again, his sister cries. Never. The answer thunders through her tiny heart. Never. Never. Never. She’s frightened now. Weak. Never, little one. Only when they have shot you too. Copyright 2008 K Urban. All rights reserved. If someone tried to grab my rifle I would shoot them as fast as possible, regardless of where I was aiming. Body parts, and mental ability are irrelevant.
Of course this is sad, but if the report is correct, the soldier did the right thing.

This incident like others before it militate for the unilateral withdrawal by Israel from the West Bank. It certainly wont solve the many problems or facilitate the establishment of a Palestinian state, but it would help prevent violence and suffering in these two polarised communities.

How does ''jr'' know the soldier did the right thing as Israel does not reveal its rules of engagement whatsoever.
As far as Israel is concerned the rules for ammunition against Palestinians are like the old Martini advert: Anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Israeli soldiers ''are forbidden under any circumstances from opening fire on Jewish settlers''(Guardian) So there you have it: One rule for their precious chosen people, the Israelis, and one for the Palestinians. Very much like Hitlers principles?

I don't for one minute believe anything that the israelis say - its the same when it comes to British soldiers - as far as the Americans are concerned - Bush does the talking for them.
