With the many misconceptions about Islam circulating in the media and among the general public, MPACUK have set out to try and remove false misunderstandings of the faith and combat Islamophobia through the most efficient way possible: by engaging with mainstream media.

Two-thirds of the British public learn about Islam through mainstream newspapers and television. There is no point of defending the faith in front of people who already know. Therefore we need to reach out to the wider non-Muslim community through the most effective process.

No other Muslim organisation in Britain is more active than MPACUK in defending Islam in the mainstream media and making sure Muslims wake up, clean up and stand up. Here is a taster of MPACUK in the mainstream media:
