Question for the Condi: why is it wrong for Russia to conquer Georgia, but it's ok for it to conquer Chechnya?

Only sixty-odd years ago, the capitalist West and communist Russia were forced into an alliance because they were both attacked by the Nazi beast. The beast now is militant Islamism, which again will help forge alliances between the most unlikely partners. India does not enter into it: Hindu terrorism is not a world-wide phenomenon.
