This is just one example of the atrocities committed daily against innocent Palestinian civilians.... How many more go unreported? One can only wonder and fear the worst. Where's the Global outcry??? Read the full story at BBC News Readers have left 26 comments.
Humanity:
This footage of Zionimals should be sent to Louise Ellman, Andrew Dismore and other MPs who claim to be 'Friends of Israel'.
Remember to send it to Ed Balls who, I believe, spoke at the 'Salute to Israel' event in Trafarlgar Sq. (Should have been called 'Salute to Slaughter'! -- how disgusting were the beasts who attended!) Oh, and don't forget our very own 'Ed' Hussein!

Zionist scum like Gordon Brown also bear responsibility. He admired the "creation" of Israel ie. the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

Humanity and Taz. I trust you'll be writing to the Israeli leaders to congratulate them for punishing one of their own errant soldiers, and to Hizbollah leaders for showering kisses on Kuntar, the child murderer.

I Sidat:
And they call themselves democratic; they call themselves humans and pledge peace with their neighbour, how untrue.
But of course the justice in this world would say this is self defence, this doesn't constitute human rights violation this is Palestine's fault.

MPAC, please, you are just stoking up hatred for the sake of it without trying to be balanced. The people responsible are reprehensible human beings and are being punished appropriately according to the law (and if you believe in god, they will be punished when they die as well). Where is the balance and condemnation of the two bulldozer attacks recently by Palestinians? Or did not enough Israelis die to warrant a mention?

colin the zionist says you are stoking up hatred, so a man is tied up and blind folded then shot by israeli soldiers, not civillians but by trained soldeirs.
People who have been under 60 years of occupation-oppresion and daily humilitation in your book should be treated the same as trained soldeirs as who shoot tied up and blindfolded civillians. Colin the atheist is a insult to atheists, colin the zionist is more suitable in consideration of your views. When the israelsi end occupation of palestien then we shall hold palestinians accountable to the highest of standards, until then victims of occupation and daily oppression suffering from mentall illnesses who lash out do so out of desperation.

I Am So blessed
I am so blessed Being a Palestinian Being a refugee For over fifty years I am so blessed I wasn’t in the tank With an army uniform Killing and destroying To frighten people away “It was a barren land” Later on to say! I am so blessed Being under curfew For most of my life I am so blessed I wasn’t with the army Erecting high walls Shooting at civilians At every check-point I am so blessed Losing my father In one of their raids I am so blessed That it was not I Flying planes of terror Firing that missile Then Laughing and rejoicing The mission was a success I am so blessed Watching my brother Being taken away I am so blessed I wasn’t one of those Kicking till he bled From his nose and head I am so blessed Burying my baby With a bullet in her heart I am so blessed I wasn’t that soldier Who took a baby’s life Nor was I his mother Who welcomed him a hero When coming back home I am so blessed Sleeping in a UN tent Shivering in the freezing cold I am so blessed I wasn't that settler Who occupied my home Justifying massacres With a "PROMISE SO DIVINE" Then, tossing and turning All night long Wondering what's wrong Haunted by his deeds Searching like mad For a long lost peace Which he can't find I am so blessed Holding David’s stone In my little hand I am so blessed I wasn’t giant Goliath With mass-destruction might Seeing himself invincible With no hope in sight I am so blessed

RSD:
The assertion that once the Palestines are free of the occupation then they shall be held accountable to the same high standards that are applied to the Israelis is understandable. What is not understandable however is why other regimes that are not under Zionist occupation are held accountable to the same high standards. Where are the protests against the daily abuses experienced by ordinary people throughout the Middle East? The deafening silence does nothing but strengthen the hand of the Zionist hardliners who make credible accusations of hypocrisy and racism.

RSD do inform us of which middleastern country is governed by those elected by the people without fear or hindrance.
saudi arabia led by american stooges-same with gulf countries, same with egypt-same with jordan-same with algeria you get the message. The main diffrence you do not see daily demonstrations is because these nations are run by fellow citizens not foreigners who have stolen their lands and homes and ethnically cleansed them from their land and made them refugees all over the world. They do not face daily humiliation and oppression at the hands of occupiers, i am sure you can see this massive diffrence, other than that there have been demonstrations allover the world against dictators in the muslim world.

Punishment indeed!

Zubair:
RSD - stop trying to divert the argument away from the FACT that an armed Israeli soldier shot a BLINDFOLDED, HANDUFFED, UMARMED, CIVILIAN in the leg.
Israel and it's supporters, like you, hold up the country as the only Democracy in the Middle East. When such grand claims are made, which are in fact FALSE, then the spotlight will and should be on Israel. The World needs to know the true brutality of the Israeli occupation and the excessess and torture carried out by its Army and Militant Settlers. The assertion that once the Palestines are free of the occupation then they shall be held accountable to the same high standards that are applied to the Israelis is understandable. What is not understandable however is why other regimes that are not under Zionist occupation are held accountable to the same high standards. RSD:
Zubair, do I seek to do anything but condemn the actions of the soldier in question? No! I am disappointed that the soldier has been bailed awaiting charging.
What I do ask is why the same standards are not applied evenly across the Middle East. If as many people assert that Israel and Zionism is a Nazi / Fascist entity then abuses of human rights should be hardly surprising. If the other countries are so much better then why do we not see the evolution of representative government and application of human rights? If the other regional countries are abusive fascist dictatorships which deny human rights, why are there not more protests about such abuses on this site? If in this country we criticise Muslims for the actions of a few, but overlook similar abuses by the likes of the BNP - then the Muslim community is justified in feeling victimised. And it gives credence to the extremists. The same applies to countries. If Muslims claim that by virtue of their faith that they hold the moral high ground, then they should apply higher standards upon fellow Muslims than they would apply to another religious group. Just because Israel is a multi-party democracy does not inherently mean that it should up-hold values to a higher standard than those of a dictatorship. If it does uphold higher standards all well and good, but it does not mean that there should be an increase in expectation in respect of the law. E.g. Sept 1982 Sabra-Shatilla Massacre up to 3,500 people killed. Int'l outrage that continues. Feb 1982 Hama Massacre between 10,000 and 25,000 people killed. Int'l silence. Why?? Don't Syrian Muslims matter as much as Palestinian Muslims? Why is there virtual silence? But more importantly hard-line Zionists can use the comparisons to strengthen their arguments and claims of double standards.
