yes - did you see the Channel 4 documentary last night? Highlighted how Newspaper headlines demonising Muslims are acceptable, whereas people found the same headlines about other minority groups shocking. We MUST wake up and get active - well done to this Council of Mosques and MPACUK

Looking forward to the event! We should welcome all moves to educate our community to defend itself against the rising tide of Islamophobia.

I attended an event earlier this year and it was a very polished event especially by the ladies, both those presenting and running the event, and those in the audience.
It was also worth attending because of the quality of the speakers However, quite a few of the men in the audience still acted and sounded as though they had just come off the boat. MPAC should try and put further events in central London as opposed to East London or that centre of the Earth ...Birmingham

I attended the Muslims and Media workshop at Noor-Ul-Islam Mosque on 19th July 2008. I found it highly informative and very useful. I would recommend all muslims attend such a workshop inorder to appreciate the importance and method of challenging and influencing the British Media with regards to their coverage of Muslims and Islam.
