Iran is the new “Iraq”. A threat that does not exist but that is insufficient reason to not attack or provoke Iran. Complying with international law, Iran is within its rights as a sovereign nation to develop nuclear technology for energy. The US has already begun a campaign to fight a war with a democratically elected government. Destabilising the region and in turn, the world the neo-cons do not care about issues such as worsening domestic security. In fact making matters at home worse only feeds into their nihilist dogma scaring an already compliant public into giving up their hard-won freedoms and allowing their friends in “War Inc.” to make a killing - literally. Assalaam walaikum and Greetings
Since the Neocons (the Zionists and Fundamentalist Christian Supporters) have decided that Iran is a threat in the region, it is only a matter of time before Iran is involved in a war, and some 'puppet masters' are installed. It is not a case of "if", but a case of "when". No amount of Iranian Co-operation with UN Resolutions, or the Atomic Authorities is going to persuade the USA (or even Israel) not to attack. As was the case with IRAQ, when the USA led the war under false accussations (weapons of mass destruction). Oh, yes. The Iranian President did say that "Israel should be wiped off the map", without considering that he said this because Israel should not have been created in the 1st place, and displaced the Palestinians from their legitimate homelands. When are ordinary citizens going to realise that zionists are getting the USA to do Israel's dirty work in the region. This is all part of Israel's plans of being the 'super-power' in the Middle-East. When are Muslims going to become united and realise that Iran, Saudia Arabia, Syria, Pakistan, are on the zionists 'hit' lists. Whether it is in the form of restricted financial aid, sanctions, or military strikes. Muslim Nations are under threat, one-by-one. We Muslims have at our disposal access to the media, the internet, and the politicians. We can write to them, contribute to articles, become more visible, to get our voices heard. If not the Politicians, at least the general Public will understand the issues better rather than rely upon the Daily (Gutter) Press to speak about the threat of Muslims. But all we seem to be concerned about is "voting is haram", "Brother, grow a beard", and then wonder why we Muslims find themselves in the pitiful positions that we are in. Only to praise some non-Muslims when they speak up for us. Wasalaams

If there is a war with Iran, Americans and others will "cling to" Biblical Christianity.

Oh, yes. The Iranian President did say that "Israel should be wiped off the map", " actually he didnt say that, he said " the zionist regime should vanish from the page of time " an entirely different sentiment. the mistranslation that you have quoted is deliberately so - for those of us who are not naturally literate in farsi.

MPACUK comment:
When the neoconservatives don’t have any convenient
facts to hand they make them up. Their ideology calls for this and it
is known as the “noble lie”. Since they “know best” the public need not
concern themselves with mere issues such as the truth. Their mission
necessitates having a large, capable and relentless enemy so that they
can implement their policies and put America on a permanent war path.
The events on September 11th 2001 gave them the excuse they were
looking for - hence the “global war on terror”.
