So?
What point are you trying to make mpac? I think you need to learn there is no "contradiction", but this is a classic case of a "contradistinction".

As a grouping that embraces and reveres the speech of its leaders the Bukhari Brothers over and above the speech and direction, of Allah (swt), His Messenger(pbuh), the practice of the Sahabah and the guidance of our Ulema, MPAC has proven itself a mis-informed and obstinate non-player with about 200 people in the UK who pay it any real attention at all!! Their leader's insultive manner to all and sundry sums up the ethos of this organisation, as the Prophet (pbuh) described this mannerism of shouting and abusing people during debate as a trait of hypocrisy. I have personally seen their leader pulling faces and mocking brothers of scholarship on Islam Channel. We pray that Allah (swt) removes this sense of pride, haughtiness, ego and hatred of the Jammah from the hearts of these people. with regard to the discussion at hand, the Islamic quotation is clear and requires no interpretation.
‘Allah does not change the condition of a people till they change that which is within themselves, and (that is) because Allah is Hearer and Knower’.(AL-Qur'an)

I beleive both should be simultaneous.
Allah SWT says that the blood of one muslim is more dear to him than the Kabah and all its glory. How can you justify a non political comment and only dictate that one should perfect yourself when their are Muslim Brothers and sisters being killed all over the world. It is more akin to cowardice than anything else not speaking up. And the scholars who say that we need to perfect ourselves, they are scholars for dollars who are gettig rich as Islams expense and are a waste of space. If the atitude of the first generations of islam was to first perfect yourself than Islam would not be as widespread s it is today. Some of the Sahaba RA reac the shahada and immediately went on to the battlefield and some were even fortunate to become shaheed. So MPAC are right to rally this question and as we can see the favour amongst the brothers ion this page is the right one.

showing videos of muslims being abused and denigrating those who advocate self-improvement sounds a lot like the recruiting strategies of the extremist groups which have weakened muslims' ability to help each other in the first place.
what are you going to do next? show videos of muslims getting blown up in iraq/afghanistan and ask what we're going to do about it? isn't that exactly what inspired those brainwashed fools who left this country to fight in a war that no-one invited them to? it is by perfecting ourselves as muslims living lawfully within this country that we will be able to obtain the legitimate strength to help fellow muslims in need.

So its better to keep it from the public is it? so freedom of information is wrong for muslims like yourself (one step away from a nazi) i think your more extreme then you make out. — rahimthere's nothing wrong with showing the video on it's own - the accompanying rhetoric is the problem. i find it disturbing that you can suggest i'm extreme when i'm clearly arguing against those who would use extremist recruiting tactics for their cause.
