 Palestine Lives 2008 is a celebration of Palestinian art, culture, history and experience. It brings together artists, poets and musicians from Palestine and England, celebrating the fact that Palestine and its culture still exist despite 60 years of Nakba. 1-4pm Saturday 7th June, Albert Square, Manchester.

Sounds like a great event - especially bringing a celebration of Palestinian culture to the centre of Manchester, and educating the public about the truth of what is happening in the Middle East. (Much more effective than yet another low-profile demo).
I'll definitely try to attend insh'Allah.
