MPACUK: It's What They Fear... Print E-mail

informed_choice.jpgThis article was sent to us from one of our respected readers: A man wrote a book, and it became a best seller, it was translated into 25 languages, and sold millions and even outsold Harry Potter in other countries, despite this he faced a major challenge. Not from the millions of readers who read his book and quit smoking and showed how quitting smoking doesn’t have to be painful but easy.

His challenge came from the very people he knew. It came from the people he thought would support him. Yes, from the media, the Government, organisations like ASH, QUIT and many established medical professions.

It was the same case with a woman who fought against an establishment that worked towards curing polio by paralysing the legs and arms to distort the limbs. The establishment put those limbs in iron to prevent the distortions. The result was Paralysis for life.

Then comes a woman called Sister Kenny and proved thousands of times that muscles could be re-educated so that a child could walk again. Instead of support, she received from her own profession, and I mean - ‘professionals’ and ‘learned’ people who said they would support her, but didn’t. People, who complained about the system and talked all day, but did nothing. She wasn’t a doctor but a nurse and she proved them all wrong, many times over. She found the solution. The women, the parents, knew she was right. They saw it before their very eyes but the established profession refused to adopt her methods and actually, prevented her from practicing them. It took her twenty years to do what she always wanted to do.

It may take us longer or shorter to educate our Ummah but sure enough, the challenge is not just out there but within our own Ummah. And in a big way.

For years, Muslims have been programmed to not take action. To quit. To see anyone else’s problem as someone else’s and sending money, food, and clothing calms their guilt. To also envy the ones who succeed in life, to cast suspicion on each other. And if it gets too hot, “let’s leave the country.”

This is exactly what the years of bombardment of negative programming are supposed to do. Let’s say, it worked.

What any corrupt leader, any establishment, the media, even an elected opponent fear, is people who Learn to THINK and then take action ‘COLLECTIVELY.’ Once they have figured out, their voice is power, using their hands to write a cross is power that their voice together, with ACTION, and using the LAW, and the process, is a Weapon, and they can, COLLECTIVELY, be a formidable community.

We can march in the millions in the streets and the media will play games and not show a thing. Or if they do, it will be minimal and plays on words. We can step into a centre and talk as loudly as we wish and portray ourselves as campaigners of justice. We can sit in front of the TV and talk about the five pillars of Islam.
But the power, the real power, is when the people take responsibility for their own lives, come together, put their differences aside, and lead, using the same system they fight you with.

And No, that isn’t haram. Thats smart and..LEGAL.

Joe? What aee you moaning about now? The article you juust read is about Muslims taking responsibility for their lives, and not blaming anyone else?

You sure, you got the right article to comment on because I got no idea what you are frustrating about. Actually, it's really humorous seeing someone ranting like a child against a sensible, calm article that promotes accountability, responsibility.

Nothing in that article that says anything to do with Isreal, with services not due etc. I sometimes wonder if people read the articles and just vent their frustrations for the sake of it.
