Bravo Asghar, great interview - and well done for Sky for having you on. I haven't seen you on BBC news recently but then that doesn't surprise me. They are becoming ever more reactionary these days and prefer to let ignorance rule their schedule.

Salam all,
I think we need educated muslim reps rather than have people who are all politics or people who are all 'religious'. We want sharia to be implemented in its full proper manner, then and only then you will get the known benefits. So as Muslim we want Sharia every where including the UK. However on matters that are personal to us, we wnat it now, on matters that are conflecting we want sharia to be studied and accomodated. Islam allows as to follow (law of the land) only what does not go against what Allah has decreed.

Sharia is far better than the man made stuff on offer by ministers who should know they are creating a mess not solving them.
prisons are full.
crime pays.
laws are palying cat and mouse.
Get the sharia and you will see results.
and if you are not the criminals you dont need to worry about the punishments.
why pay $20,000 for a $20 hand bag?
(robbery - cought, police, courts + 1 year prison expence)
watch youtube.com/izPeace on history of Islam.

ahmed i respect your views,,man made laws are not perfect but a lot of people are punished for crimes they didnt commit..Im sure you can understand the apprehension of non muslims when a minority want to effectively break away from the rest of society and live by their own laws..in a democracy it is majority rule..this is my opinion only..

It is a great shame that someone could even use a phrase like "Muslim inbreds". The Telegraph, Times and Mail have been most vocal in spreading facist messages over the weekend.

What is most sadenning is that some of the culprits have been of the Jewish faith (such as Melanie Philips). Have these people forgot that Jews and Muslims lived in harmony for most of the past history??
