"The current Zionist decision alongside the construction of the Apartheid Wall, are attempts to cut out the West Bank from al-Quds. Such a move reveals that talks regarding regional peace have been hoax," Fouad Seniora said in a statement on Thursday. The Lebanese Premier added that calling for an international conference for Middle East peace will not be beneficial if Israel continues occupying Palestinian lands. Seniora has also contacted Chief of Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas and Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, expressing his discontent towards the Zionist decision to confiscate Palestinian lands. The Zionist practice comes amid intensive efforts exerted by concerned parties to hold an international conference in a bid to revive the stalled Middle East peace process. What is an "Apartheid Wall"?
Are they referring to the wall that runs through Jerusalem? Isn't this an Anti-Terrorism Wall? Is Saudi Arabia an Apartheid State if it doesn't allow non-Muslims to visit Mecca or Medina and by having a border with the Yemen that it enforces. Just trying to discover some new meaning of Apartheid that has been invented to relate to Israel. Any help?

It's a fence, not a wall. It went up and it will probably come down again when the time is right. But it's also true that some kind of land grab is going on, and cutting farmers off from their land is cruel. Apart from security I can't see the point of it unless they want Palestinians to get so fed up that they just leave the area.
What a mess.

I agree that it causes hardship tio Palestinian farmers. At least appeals to the Israeli courts have resulted in demands to re-route. Its not perfect but its better than utter disregard for Palestinians.

The real problem for many is that Israel exists, that the Jews exist. It is a constant thorn in the side, a constant reminder that the founders of monotheism have not accepted Christian or Muslim ideas, that Christian/Muslim theology makes no sense outside a Judaic context.

That Jews and Israel exist are not problems. If they didn't exist then there would be a problem and mankind would have to invent them, or chose another people. Put's an interesting spin on the concept of the "chosen people".

The usual Zionist culprits jumping in with their pro_israeli agenda.
These guys cannot admit that Israel could do any wrong ..Oh No! Trying to play the anti-semetic / Jewish card is fast becoming a liability as fanatics throw it around left, right and centre to to try and avoid discussion about Israel's human rights abuses and occupation. To the Zionists ... The whole world can see the injustices that Israel commits .. so go fet a life ..

Israel does wrong. If someone wanted to find a morally equivalent justification for it they might say (as do those that excuse terrorism by blaming it on US/UK foreign policy) that it is a reaction against what they have to deal with - namely pathological hatred instilled in their foe from childhood. But that would be a weak justification. However, Israel (the country and the tribe) cannot afford to let its people be near-annihilated again. So, until Arab-Muslim populations throw off the pernicious influence of hate-frenzied mullahs then we have the situation we have. What's your answer - Israel allows itself to be slaughtered? Or would you like a two-state solution like most Israelis and right-minded people?

A theif will be a theif no matter how many diffrent excuses are made for his theft. when the people of canaan were oppressed and slaughtered, they made fancy claims like god gave us the land. today when they oppress and slaughter the palestinians they make similar claims, the land belongs to us,it is ours as we have no where else. it was never theirs in the beginning so how can it be theirs now, there is always a action behind every reaction.

To the Zionists ... The whole world can see the injustices that Israel commits .. so go fet a life .. There is no racim card labelled "Antisemitism" to play. Whenever someone uses the word "Zionists" on MPAC we know you simply mean all the supporters of Israel across the World. Bush, Merkel, Broon, Blair, Sarkozy, millions of Christains. So, make sure you use the word Zionists to mean THAT set of people and you will never stray into Antisemitism. Once you get selective about a sub-set of Zionists then you can tend towards racism. Israelis and IDF can be very naughty people at times and do some naughty and stupid things. They should be made to stand in the corner until break time or go to their rooms without supper. That'll teach them.

Rob, you seem to think that if there are hate-frenzied Mullahs urging the annihilation of Israel (tribe and country) that it is deserved - with all your action and reaction stuff. I would call it simple Jew-hating. What excuses do you find for the Nazis and the Catholic Church's (hopefully now historical) hatred of the Jews? Did they deserve it then too? Was the Nazis' just a reaction too?
Just idly curious about your moral compass. Do you have one?

First of all the moment when the Israelites left Egypt ad Allah granted them the status of Chosen People with the gift of The Land of Israel is recorded in the Koran. To deny the Koran is surely an act of apostacy. Hence, they cannot be "thieves" since the land is clearly their's by divine right. That they were dispersed by Romans, Turks and Arabs simply emphasises that the Land of Israel was actually stolen FROM The Jews, NOT BY The Jews. Why don't you simply acknowledge the will of Allah expressed in the Koran. Isnm't it obvious that Israel's contined survival and prosperity is due to the protection of Allah. Aren't the Arab defeats a sign of the displeasure of Allah that man should try and alter His plan?
