It is important to get as many views as possible as some of the proposals are controversial e.g. extending detention limit without charge, storing DNA of people even if they have not been charged under the Terrorism Act, sharing this DNA info internationally, seizing travel documents at ports on mere suspicion etc. For more information on the proposals, please read the following article: Controversial New Anti-Terror Law Proposals Note: To take part in the survey, you will need to register to take part unless you are already a member. The government is carrying out a consultation on their proposed new anti-terror legislation before including the measures in a Bill in November. Muslim Voice UK (MVUK) would like to put forward Muslim views on these proposals to the Home Office as the greatest impact of these is likely to be felt by the Muslim community.
