our mosque leaders dont care because our leaders are no longer the great leaders Islam was once blessed with, examples being Umar ibn al Khattab(ra), Abu Bakr (ra) and of course Muhammed (saw), who put the needs of the ummah first, todays leaders are more concerned about fixing that hole in the roof than the state of the ummah.
our mosque leaders are the only people qualified to take any action and instead their hiding behind the latest debate on what colour hijabs should be

I have already posted my opinions in the previous article, so won't bore everyone again.
How about solutions? 1. a league table of mosques based on easy to assess KPIs such as wilingness to engage in peaceful protests, deal with youth issues etc. Then expand to produce a monthly premiership of the best mosques arround the country. 2. Who speaks for muslims? Well according to Channel 4 it is the SMC. I attended a do at Westminster where Haras and co. were involved in a love-in with certain MPs. But since then I have tried to get in touch with SMC and well.... no luck. Write to your MP asking for information on Muslim groups working with government. Then try contacting them and feed back your experiences back to your MPs. These people must be accountable. Or they must be replaced. 3. Organise activities despite your local mosques if they will not participate. And then seek coverage in your local media.

he isn't a single rallying point for uk Muslims and so there cannot be a single co-ordinated policy.
There is no-one called "The Leader of UK Muslims". Neither is there a political party that represents Muslims. RESPECT is currently destroying itself. My recommendation is to appoint a UK Caliph as a single spokesperson for UK Muslims. But, can all the diverse groups agree on one?

JamalA thats a good suggestion, or maybe a panel, sortof like a committee but instead, these people are from all the diverse groups of muslims, this way its not one person. but how do the we as the ummah go about making this happen? can we make it happen?...

There is one overiding issue which can and should unite Muslims, and at the same time have real impact on Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib, 'extraordinary rendition', New World Order, Palestine, and US puppet leaders in so many Muslim countries around the world, as well as 'Uncle Tom' leaders here, who prefer enoblement and political and financial rewards rather than their duty.
The issue is 9/11. Mobilise your groups and friends, to lobby Mosque leaders and politicians to demand a proper inquiery into the events of 9/11. I am a Christian, and have been involved with human rights campaigns since the '70's; I am heavily involved with the British & Irish 9/11 Truth Campaign at present, and I'm totally convinced, without a shadow of doubt, that 9/11 was an 'Inside Job'. If I were you, I would be very wary of Muslims who claim 'Osama done it'; they are likely to be 'agent provocateurs' or fools. Problems will arise when you try to get your leaders involved; they will wring their hands (already!) and say 'How can we know what happened?'. The answer is, they don't need to know what happened. All they need to know is that the 'official version' is a pack of verifiable lies, cobblers; their account requires the denial of laws of thermodynamics and physics. If they don't aleady know 9/11 was an 'Inside Job', or require convincing, put them in touch with us. Don't take my or our word for it; investigate the web, books, DVD's, then decide for yourselves. Don't wait till the few remaining opportunities to protest and demand answers are taken from you. And much to Bliar, Brown and Bush's chagrin, there is not room in Guantanamo for all of you (and us). More 'False Flag' atrocities will follow, and what rights we still have will be removed.

Everyday with the problems around us getting worse and worse, MPACUK have been holding our mosque leaders to account over their inaction. But why don't they seem to care about helping Muslims? MPACUK would like to hear your opinions about why this is the case, so please post any comments you have on this topic. We can no longer run away from this issue - we must face it head on, and we must face it now.
