The following passage is telling.
As everyone knows, Avigdor Lieberman’s stated goal is to rid Israel of Arabs. But then there is the equally important geographical question. What does Israel mean by land ‘equal to 100% of West Bank’? First of all, Israelis don’t count Greater Jerusalem as part of the West Bank. Immediately after capturing Jerusalem in ‘67, Israelis expanded its borders to three times its original size where concentric circles of new settlements now completely surround the Arab quarter. The border has expanded eastward ever since to the extent that it now effectively bisects the West Bank. The UN map published earlier this year shows just how viable such a state would be.

RSD:
This is not a new idea and was suggested by Ariel Sharon a few years ago. However it will fall down because under the Israeli constitution the inhabitants of the "Arab Triangle" north of the West Bank will be able to veto its implementation.
Had this proposal been made 25 years ago then the Israeli Arabs would probably have agreed to it, however from the polls that were done when Sharon made the same proposal it was clear that the overwhelming majority of Israeli Palestinians living in the area to be transfered had no intention of relinquishing their Israeli citizenship and being handed over an Arafat-led PNA. As very large numbers of Palestinian Christians have moved out of the West Bank in the last decade to live in Israel, it is hard to understand how an "Arab Free" Israel could be created. I can only conlcude that this story is either totally false, Peres can finally lost the plot or that it is a clever ploy to demonstrate that the PNA is practically rejected by Palestinians.

I can't beleive the hypocracy of the Israeli's. They take land, kill innocent Palestinians and now they plan to go even further with this genocidal plan is more than shocking.
The most shocking thing i have felt for years is the fact that the international community is silent. the UN(USA)condemns who they want and protects who they choose to protect. I feel we are fighting a loosing battle which just tells me something a bout the Middle east Road Map, there isn't a road in the first place so how can there be a road map. I am very worried about the future of my Muslim brothers and sisters in the region. May Allah help us all.

Can you refer me to the source of this information re Shimon Peres as it comes as a bit of a surprise
Throughout the years of trying to reach a peace agreement Shimon Peres ahs probably been the most dovish and most prepared to compromise of all Israeli leaders I am not aware this has changed and would welcome seeing the alleged source

This artlicle is based on an article from Haaretz which concerns a proposal for peace based on exchange of territory. The proposal may or may not be feasible or acceptable but where is there any reference to ethnic cleansing in the article whether expressly or by implication? There is enough "ordure" flying in the Middle East without adding to the stink and thereby making the task of the peacemakers harder. The price of high rhetoric is usually paid by the blood of innocents! Please stop it!

The Israelis have behaved over the decades like paedophiles.
The Israelis were grossly abused by the Nazis and they heve now developed a form of long-term torture of the Palestinians. The methods may be the different, but the results are the same. There is a gross disregard of other human life on the back of a self-belief that they, the Israelis, are the chosen people and thus by association others are not and can thus be dealt with as they please. Didn't the Nazis also believe that they were a race apart, a superior race?

Irrespective of the actual content of your inflammatory Shimon Peres article, I am disappointed, to put it mildly, that you should accompany it with a photo purporting to evidence "Israeli genocide of a (presumably Palestinian) family"
Please will you now publicise the full names, ages and home of the deceased together with date, time and place of alleged executions

How can this be considered "ethnic cleansing", when there is no movement of people?
The Arabs are currently living in areas under Israeli sovereignty, and if the proposal is approved the areas will be transferred to Palestinian sovereignty. Isn't this what they want?

Same old story - if our world were a civilised place, the "International Community" (where is it please???) would insist on and force Israel to comply with international law and ALL outstanding UN Security and General Assembly resolutions, and there are piles of them, all so far ignored by Israel - and that compliance would of course mean the TOTAL withdrawal of all the illegal settlers in the illegally and barbarically occupied territories, including of course East Jerusalem and Syria's Golan Heights - all this actually carried out and as a pre-condition for meaningful talks with the Palestinians, of course represented by their legitimately elected Hamas-government. I invite you to visit my website www.MYSPEAK.info and to read some of my Poems: The Jewish Quarter, Like Frankenstein's Monster, The Future of Palestine, From Israel With Hate - and many more.
