| Are Muslims Being Censored In The Conservative Party? |

When the report was first published (Uniting the Country), a leading group of Muslim
Conservatives came together to offer a response to their party's policy
group. They were scathing in their attack of what they considered to be a "weak and damaging documents which made unsubstantiated comments". Authours of the report included Lord Sheikh, Kabir Sabar, Imtiaz Amin, Yousif Miah, amongst others. Their comments were dismissed out of hand. Muslims within the party who voiced concern at the tone of the report found themselves sidelined from an increasingly influcential set of people around Cameron. Those Muslims, particularly Sayeeda Waris who stayed tight-lipped was rewarded with a seat in the HoLords. The Conservative party is not interested in Muslims and those they do speak to, tend to ape their stance on Islam, Muslims, War on Terror and so on. Don't be fooled by Cameron and his stunts like spending time with a Muslim family, this is all for show and underneath the soft exterior lies a sinister set of policies which are damaging to the general interests of this country.
