Every Friday in every mosque the Muslim community congregates for prayer and inevitable socialising. Changing and improving a part of the khutbah alone can improve the level of awareness within a community. By delivering part of the khutbah in English, the benefits of having the English kutbah is so that the youth and reverts in the mosque who all predominantly speak English as their mother tongue are not deprived of understanding Islamic knowledge.. Ten to fifteen minutes should be allocated for its deliverance and topics should vary from muslim lifestyle and activity in the UK, the youth, women and men, current affairs and various other topics. The Arabic khutbah delivered every Friday need not be entirely removed. Having a Reverts Programme, would further advance the understanding of Islam for new Muslims. It also brings them closer to the mosque. It would support both new male and female Muslim reverts. Arranging programmes in the mosque such as meetings, special classes, days out to be held so that new Muslims can receive help education and advice. In this way they can join and help build a better community of that which they feel they can be comfortably be a part of, in their local mosque. Inevitably this would help your mosque to grow and further improve, as it reaches out to all peoples in your community. A mosque should also endeavour to include in its programme a After School Programme. This educational programme, should mainly be available for children, and should aim to assist them on a subjects such as maths and science which Islam helped pioneer in it's golden age etc and other topics they study in their schools, and also a specified religious syllabus. After School Programme's should aim to provide children with a happy and safe environment away from school, where they can do homework, and experience a variety of fun activities. A mosque that invites its young youth without envisaging the dilemma of child back ground noise is indeed a mosque that has an open mind. Children are the future and if they cannot feel their mosque is their refuge for activities and child friendly learning then it is something all mosques should improve upon. Even arranging a small library in the mosque for all to access can help build towards the ideal dream of education and its betterment in Islam. Literature such as politics, media and careers advice can be made easily available. The library firstly obviously containing books could also contain, DVD’s, CD’s, Audio tapes on Islamic and Non-Islamic subjects.

Education,
Education, Education, everyone most likely has heard the repetitiveness of this
one single word, yet still it is unbeknown and undermined. Mosques can build to
the ideal of better Education by properly utilising their buildings and resources
that is a mosque, to better use and improvement within the sphere of proper
education.
